Are you planning a trip to Supai? Ask questions here I usually respond same day.

So what is proper etiquette for picking a site and setting up your tent at Havasu? If there is room, is it acceptable to put your tent up without asking if the other campers mind (assuming they are not around).

@@mkaknes they give you paperwork that has some camp rules: Camp only in designated campsites No alcohol No dogs or other animals No drones No campfires No weapons or firearms No drugs No loud music No jumping or diving No boats, rafts, kayaks, inner tubes, pool floats, pool toys, or water guns. Pack out all your trash. It’s pretty obvious once you get there which spots are designated campsites because they usually have a flat area for a tent and some sort of picnic table. You don’t want to destroy more wildlife and trample down bushes so use the area that has already been used. It is first come first serve and most likely all the spots will be full by the end of each night. Some spots are secluded without any people close by and some down by the water you will have others on both sides. I personally smile and wave to the “neighbors” to test out if they are friendly and want to talk.

My two daughters and I are heading to Havasu at the end of March. It is SO HELPFUL to see the campground before we arrive - thank you! I also watched your full itinerary video, equally helpful and the two of you just make me smile in general! Is there any gear you regretted bringing? Any gear you really wished you would have brought? This rule may have changed for 2024, but it now sounds like you are required to store food and scented things in a bear canister. I have one, but I'm afraid it won't be enough space for the three of us and was considering getting some odor-proof bags in addition. I see you used odor-proof bags instead (and perhaps no bear canister). Does anyone check your gear before you go? I don't want to get stuck having to leave food behind because we don't have multiple bear canisters.

HI, great video and great info. If you secure the good spots towards the back, how far are the restrooms and can you cut through the middle to get to them? TIA!

Not allowed to jump right there! It’s several thousand feet high and the water isn’t that deep.
