This looks good, I'm going to have to try it. I bet my wife will really like it too. I'll have to make it with gluten-free flour because she has celiac, but it should be just fine. I can imagine this will be really fluffy, using both baking powder and whipped egg whites. I might try both raisins and dried cranberries in it. Dried blueberries might be good to try sometime too. I bet a bit of cardamom would be good in it too.
Wooow such good ideas! Summer is not a fan of Kardamom so she will pass but she sais usually they serve this with plum jam or apple sauce or sometimes vanilla sauce

Thank you Summer. I've lived in Germany for some months & have German relatives but was never introduced to Kaiserschmarran pancakes. I'm half German but my German mother passed away when I was 9. I also enjoyed the schnitzel recipe. I love pork or chicken schnitzel. Wish I could cook potato knoedel in India.

I've just got to wise-crack: actually, Kaiserschmarrn is an Austrian dish. The word Schmarrn (in both Bavarian and Austrian) means something like mischief or nonsense and also inferior or cheap. There are many legends about when and where Emperor Franz (husband of the legendary Empress Sisi) is said to have been served this "poor people's" dish and hence got this name. 😅
