TSN Hockey analyst Martin Biron joined SportsCentre to discuss the Hurricanes' Game 4 win over the Rangers, and whether or not he believes they've shown they can compete with New York for the remainer of the series.
The Canes have been competing. The problem is that they’re down 3 games. They cannot drop another, and I just don’t see that happening in such a close series.
@Siksdev I initially thought it would be a close series, but the Rangers offence is much faster in their breakouts- catching the defence out of position or them just unable to match the speed. Rangers are also capable of getting bodies in the prime scoring areas while the Rangers defence has been able to box out Carolina’s smaller forwards. These are glaring issues that can’t be “coached” necessarily. Canes just have to get bigger like Svech on the offence and they really need to dump TDA- he is a huge liability on the back end.
NYR isn’t loosing 4 in a row lol. Idk y people genuinely believe it could happen lol rangers r on a mission to win it all, they ain’t letting a 3-0 comeback happen…..
rags fans acting like it was a blow out each game. it was one goal each game including two OTs. rangers have blown 2-0 series leads for the past two years. i know its 3-1 now but if the canes STAY 5 ON 5, where they have outplayed the rangers in shots and goals, and dont take dumb penalties *cough cough svechnikov* then it is very possible that that canes can win game 5 going back home for game 6 then take their momentum to game 7. shesty IS human. its possible, not likely, the canes can come back. if a 3-0 comeback is ever gonna happen for a fifth time it is this series
As for me, even though I’m a Rangers fan, the Hurricanes are somehow a little better, but over the years the Rangers “have balls.” Therefore, the Hurricanes will not get another 3 in a row.
Considering you are just a Rangers hating troll who has to post THREE comments stating the same garbage, go stick your idiotic prediction where the sun doesn't shine, pal. 🤡
