I liked the way the man in the blue suit at the biscuit factory was looking over his shoulder at the plant asking the question… he was obviously very confused by the unknown member of staff.

Our wars are only fought for either profit, genocide, or both, and there is no such thing as a righteous war.

National Service may be popular with older people unless they are old enough as I am to have escaped the previous manifestation by a couple of years. I am not in favour of it and How anyone can imagine that the army as it currently is can manage it let alone would want to beggars belief. There is no way enough regulars can be recruited in time , or ever, to manage it so it would have to be operated by private companies no doubt at vast expense. It obviously has not been costed.
