Welcome to Cruiselandia! I’m Chris, and together with my wife Brandi, we set sail on a Western Caribbean Cruise aboard the NCL Breakaway from the beautiful and historic New Orleans. This is our first Cruise on Norwegian Cruise Line. We will sail from New Orleans with stops at Costa Maya, Harvest Cay, Roatan, and Cozumel, before returning to NOLA.
This is Day 4. We are in Belize, on the private island of Harvest Caye. Beach lounging, swimming in the warm Caribbean waters, enjoying the wildlife area, and doing a little shopping, are on the agenda today. Back on the ship, it is a relaxing day. We stroll the waterfront to show all of the great seating for relaxing, outdoor dining. We review our dining experience in the Taste Main Dining Room.

Going on the breakaway next month! Can i ask did you feel much movement on this ship, like any sickness onboard, sorry im a bit nervous as this is my first cruise lol

We didn’t have any excessive movement. The Caribbean is usually pretty smooth. I always bring Bonine with me, just in case. If you get up in the morning and it feels a little Rocky, take Bonine. Always take it before you feel a little sick, don’t wait until you already feel a little queasy. Then it won’t be effective. Have a great time! ~Chris

@@cruiselandia8710 oh that's great to know thank you for putting my mind at ease lol they do look like pretty big ships plus we are sailing the Mediterranean so it should be calm enough though as long as there's plenty of beer & gelato I'm a happy guy haha 😍

I kind of feel about your channel as you do about NCL. Your complaints outweigh your positivity and it becomes hard to take. Not everything is going to be the way you want it. Of the complaints you have mentioned, I'd say the poor service at dinner, smoke billowing into a dining area and lack of food options in the evening are legit. I'm not sure about some of the others. When you complain about pork belly being too fatty, you've lost me. Pork belly is bacon, which we all know is at least 25% fat and it can't exactly be trimmed. I wish you and your channel the best in the future.

Thank you for your comment. I don’t expect everyone to agree with everything I say in my videos. I don’t sugar coat the content. We literally just share our experience as it happens, and to us, our complaints are legitimate. To be honest, there were a lot more problems that we chose not to share. I don’t know if you have watched any of our other series. We don’t usually have a lot of negative things to say. I stand by everything I said in the video. As far as pork belly, that is something that I have a lot of experience with. I’m an avid smoker, and I also make my own bacon. I have also made homemade Porchetta as well as guanciale from scratch. The pork belly I had wasn’t very good, but that is my opinion, and yours might have been different, and I respect that. Thanks again for watching. ~ Chris
