Moar Fish!! We love 'em! The Boros energy MU is pretty awful, you have to metagame specifically for it by either splashing red for Bolt and Flame or white for Sun Cleanser. The mana doesn't matter because harbinger fixes all your U mana anyway.
When he says "people hate playing control at PTs" is he being sarcastic or did something changed? It always felt like PTs had a heavier control leaning, even in more open metas.
Another reason people don't like playing control at the PT is that if there's a breakout deck or the meta is different than expected then control can be a huge liability. A more linear deck is likely to have a good matchup into an unknown deck or meta than control.
