About the dating restriction, I don’t really know about other companies but YG has 2 years of dating ban from the time of debut. They can date after that, but most idols keep it secret because the reaction from their fans is unpredictable, mostly negative especially if an idol dates another idol ( their fans are always competitive about the achievements and stuffs ) . But it’s usually OK if an idol dates an actor or a model ( Jisoo from BLACKPINK is currently dating an actor and most fans support their relationship ). About the salary, YG paid their artist well ( It’s like 70% artist, 30% company ) It’s pretty high considering all the investments are coming from the company like living accommodations, transportation, styling etc., And I’m pretty sure that the payment for the composer credits is separate if an idol gets credits in composing and producing. ( Some companies don’t pay their artists well ) Additional info: YG don’t charge their trainees p. It’s FREE. Some companies did take money from their trainees, some trainees end up in debt even before their debut.
