As Boeing whistleblower, I reported defects on 737Max and 777x flight controls to Federal Court in December 2016. I described defects and how our top manager allowed the defects into service. My termination notice was delivered to my home on 2016 Christmas Eve late afternoon. OSHA did not find my termination to be a retaliation. FAA investigated and did not find defects. After two Boeing airplanes crushed in 2018 due to flight control defects my former coworkers told me how that top manager was escorted from his work place. But I reported different defects, not the defects that caused the 2 crashes. My defects resulted different crashes similar to Alaska Air. I assume nobody fixed the defects I reported. I am sure there are other defects that engineers just did not report because of the existing management system. Statistically, only one out of 100 engineers would confront the system. This means that the current number of defects on Boeing airplanes in service = number of reported defects * 100. This video shows me how politicians make themselves reelected. Nobody is targeting the root cause of the defects making it into service. The root cause, in my opinion, is modern management system when MBAs command engineers how things have to be done. I have reported to Federal Court that the management system has failed. Need to fix the management system. Replacing Boeing CEO will not solve it. Good first step, in my opinion, would be to offer jobs back for all the terminated whistleblowers like myself. Most of us do not want that job anymore because we moved on as you can see on my RU-vid. Inspired by termination I have built my own device to fly on water.

The fix is to not fly on the Boeing. Let airlines know that you won't be using defective products. You aren't complaining that a notebook you bought is sh`t, and you do not demand the company which makes it to be "fixed", do you? You just don't buy from them anymore.

@@denysvlasenko1865 Then Boeing will reduce engineering force more to stay in business. Market economy is a fake concept that never worked well for the people. It benefits only a few people in power.

I had a boss that was, lazy, constantly delegating, plotting to terminate employees and just creating a hostile, toxic culture. These types are more common than you think. No empathy, completely self centered and self absorbed. They are worthless and do serious damage. Most hiring managers get confidence mixed up with competence. That's where it all starts

Very disappointing. Calhoun should have had the whistleblowers flown over to their Chicago ivory tower on Airbus aircraft. Meeting with the whistleblowers should have been Calhoun's first priority; these may be the straightest straight shooters in the company and are probably their biggest assets alongside the engineers and products. None in the C-Suite should be making more than the lowest paid engineer. All that money paid to executives and stockholders during the time of the fraud should be clawed back.
@civilpanda9422

Calhoun you've got big problems. I'm sure many started before you took over. However, the buck stops with you. I will say as far as CEOs testifying before congress you do seem to be more sincere in your responses. Arrogance is not on display here.

Haha. Trust me, he's shown his arrogant ways in the past many times. He even tried to blame both 737 Max crashes on the pilots!!! Now that he's in boiling water, he has no way around it but appearing to be "sincere" and "sympathetic" hoping congress goes easy on him. And let me tell you, he has the look of a psycopath! Ask any expert on it and they'll tell you the exact same thing.

There is a feeling that whistle blowers are always right. Fact being that often they are disgruntled employees just expressing their inability to accept appropriate request. Most common is they were passed over for a promotion.
