Thank you so much for doing this Alessandro, I am now a third year animator about to submit my first project of this year and since my first year I’ve had this feeling in every single project, I had no computer training before uni so was really hard to catch up with everyone and see the standard they produced, made me feel I was the worst animator, I have thought many times because I used to draw first, am I doing the right course? Should I have chosen illustration? What will my future be?” I do feel more confident now but do still get these feelings, thank you for opening up about how you feel, this will inspire me and countless other animators to continue to do the work they love to do. Whenever I feel down now, I’ll look back on this video and your advice to get me in the zone again. Sorry it’s long just had to say how much this meant to me. 😊👍

Thank you for this video sir.....i follow your work and learned many things from you......I'm a fresher and sometimes i feel i can't be a good animator but i will never quit.....i try to control those feelings and focus on my work......thank you for teaching animation and how to handle this kind of mental pressure as well.....💕

Sometimes I do doubt myself and wether or not I will actually make it into the industry, but luckily my passion for animation has never been weaker, so because of that I know it within myself that this is what I am really yearning to do and if I keep trying harder and pushing, I may actually make it. Taking breaks from practicing is hard for me, but what I like doing is recharging my inspirations by watching things that didnt inspire me as much before.

I just watched this after having my first fail at A. M. ....and I needed it. I was a pro fx animator for a looong time..and getting into character work...so so so incredibly different. Taking a break from the classes to kind of re-up my sills in basics..... and yeah, nice of you to post this so I could find it when I needed it.

I personally just grind through this!! It sucks but you need to keep going. I sometimes get distracted and play games which is bad.

Originally, Coraline is my first inspiration. I think taking a step back is so important to helping you see the reason you are doing animation at all!

oh, Man, For three days or more with thinking about this dark moment I was deciding to quit this job because I sent over 50 resumes without any response, and money issue steals my focus, and I was so depressed and it made me doubt on my skills until I watch your movie. First of All, I watched the Cinderella Man movie, and helped me but truly that movie with a combination of your movie makes an energetic fuel for me Thank you so much.

it's happening to me right now !! XDD i'm finishing my thesis (a shortfilm) and i watched other student´s works, some of them... i think i put a lot more time and i can tell that but there is definetly talented people, that in 5 months they do incredible stuff :D you have to look foward to be in their rhythm!! I'm 1 year and 2 months so far almost finished!

right now im on that phase, i almost a year in the industry, but i still cant improve my pose. but i love so much doing it. T_T

I have learnt animation for about 2 to 3 years at university but sometime I feel like I'm not suitable for doing animation. Now I'm working on my final year project (3D animation) and will graduate 5 months later. But I think I'm not ready to get a job in animation industry and my skills just like poopoo. Really upset about my future.

It's basically a part of the dialogue, taken out of context and only with one character, but pretty readable. There is something missing though, but I am not sure what. Right now I am out of ideas.
