I appreciate that Daniel has all this neat stuff but is very humble and doesn't come off as cocky or braggy like some other bearded homestead channel I watch and not the one he is referencing. Some people let success go to their heads. This is the best of the best in content creation of farm life. Kudos on the new toy. Looking forward to seeing it work on some ponds.

I see another covered structure in the future, or maybe another garage for all the machines it takes to run several properties. Also a spot for all of the accessories to attach to each machine. Good purchase for your land, & a good way to teach Houston the safety in operating all of the machines !!!!

I rented kato HD 85 last summer to build a pond. It had plenty of power. The two things I did not like was if you’re setting in the seat the right hand side would get so hot. You couldn’t touch the key. With the AC wide open, it didn’t do much good in that cab. The other was the return vent to the AC is in the floor by your right foot. It does not have a filter on it that I could find and it would pull all the dirt up from the floor and throw it in your face. Other than that, they seem to be good machines. I just bought a Kabota U 48-5.

I can see Houston getting a new pond dug with that new machine and that would be great for cleaning up cat tails up around the ponds, cutting firewood, cleaning out your creek to create deeper fish habitat and can’t wait to what attachments go on that too. The right tool makes life easier

Daniel I just want you to know I really enjoy your channel. I was born in the country but we moved into the city. I’ve always wanted to be out away from all the noise. Anyway I don’t have much family left just me and my father. Watching your videos I get a sense of family with you all. Please take care and keep the videos coming. Also I’m not religious but respect the fact you share a message from time to time but it doesn’t feel pushy… if that make sense.

lol he's turned backwards. I thought he'd figured it out when he put the fuel but NOPE just swung that thing back around and backed down the driveway. Meanwhile thinking of which wire he's going to cut to disengage that BEEPER!

Kato is a partnership with ihi who (according to google) was the first company to make a hydraulic tracked excavator around 1950s. Ive got a 2005 ihi 35n bought with 322hrs and im up 4500+ hrs with only major issue being an injection pump. Did both final drives but thats standard (had no idea they have separate 80/90#) YES THAT TRAILER IS FINE (NOT OVERWEIGHT) With any trailer you put between 15/25% of machine weight on trailer tounge/trucks rear axle. IE 12000lbs machine %20= 2400lbs tounge weight transfered to your rear truck axle. That machine going down the road should only have about 10,000lbs on trailer axles and 2000+/- lbs on truck rear axle.

I mean the cadaver dogs wouldn’t be able to find it that deep!😂 Some good ole boy would probably give his eye teeth for one of those just to be able to dig a hole 13 feet deep! 😂 Running them donkeys down was the funniest part of the video, Daniel!
