Hello to all the Stellar Guitarists! In today's guitar tutorial I will be teaching you how to play Have You Ever Seen The Rain on the guitar! This guitar lesson is beginner friendly with easy chords and two strumming patterns. There is even a funky walking bass line to learn in this lesson too!

I’m so glad you enjoyed the lesson, this song was made for the guitar 🎸 🙌⭐️ think of the chuck like you are strumming down, but muting the strings at the same time. It’s a tricky technique to get right so make sure you are playing it slowly at first and speed it up once you can do it without thinking 😊 all the best and good luck 🙌

Hey David! I also love this song. My dad introduced me to it many years ago when I was a kid. Love it 🙌🎶 hope the chuck is going well, think of it like a ghost strum. You are strumming down, but not making any sound because your blocking the strings with your palm 😊

@thestellarguitarist Thanks Amber, I would always use my fingers to strum but I just started using a pick all the time now. Feels a bit strange and the pick goes flying out of my hand a lot but I'm starting to get used to it.

Great lesson, thank you! Listening to the original, I noticed there is also an extra "down-up" on the first C-Chord in the intro. I find it sound a bit cheekier.

Good ear! Yes there is a walking bass line on the C in the intro! For beginner purposes I wanted to aim on teaching the walking bass line on the up beat to the verse 🙌 but you are right and yes it is cheeky! 😝

Holala, hi Amber my 9th blue thumb is worth ten, I love the sound reproduction of this style it must be said that the Palm mute and other techniques you manage it really very well, I have my coffee my challenge for the week, Thank you , too proud, little anecdote, I went to the park this morning with one of my grandsons, my guitar and amp I felt comfortable playing, a train that circulated and strolled people, you saw the eyes of shining people it was very nice

Hi Amber, would you mind to do some more tutorials like Ronan Keating When you say nothing at all and make sure you have everything the same way as Ronan Keating like same chords, same strumming patterns and same fingerpicking patterns. Also Lady Gaga’s songs like Shallow, Always remember us this way, is that alright, I’ll never love again, Million Reasons. Also make sure you have everything the same way as Lady Gaga like same chords, same strumming patterns and same fingerpicking patterns. Also can you please find out how many times do we strum/fingerpicked each chords for all sections of the songs. Can you start with these song’s first be a good start
