No jet skiers, no other boats making waves, no dogs barking and a ton of Bluecats, that was a great day on the water Dave, the bad news is the locals who know this area will have 15 boats in there if you go back!!!!!
You're doing great Dave. I found you and HLC about the same time. Different types of fishing, always entertaining. Just good folks, having a good time, doing what they love. Until next time......
I agree with you about Hook line & chill. I always watched Michael's videos and I loved the content. I don't like that they were de monitized so I became a Patreon member. More power to you Michael. You too Catfish Dave.
Dave you sure slammed today! I'm so glad you shouted out to Hook Line and Chill! HLC has been in my favorites for ever. I have joined his Patreon group and I'm sure its the best spent 5 dollars a month I spend. He's gearing up well now for August.
Oh, boy!!! You crack me up every darn day you're out fishing! Today you were the 'Champeen' fisherman of fishermen!! I've said it before, I'm saying it again! Busier than a one-armed wallpaper hanger! No fish, huh!? Funny!!! You were catchin' whatever on whichever! Great show! Loved it! Keep it up, Dave! 👏👍🤗🌹
Dave I just wanted to thank you for all that you do. I don't think the average person realizes how much work this is. I have stenosis in my spine and before I was diagnosed I use to fish as much as you do. The wear and tear on your body and equipment not to mention the money and cost is amazing. Although I don't catfish for obvious reasons I do still crappie and smallmouth fish when my pain levels permit. Still doesn't replace a big flat head or blue. If you ever get the chance you might want to try the Elk River which is on wheeler reservoir. It is a fairly shallow creek/river system that dumps into the tennessee river and it is packed full of wood and log jams. I use to catch my bigger flat heads in the elk river and I mean big ones. Another area on the Tennessee River that in my opinion is overlooked for big flat heads is flint creek. This creek is between Decatur and the I565 bridge. This is a very dangerous creek to run but on the upper end off hwy 31 towards Hartselle the creek is narrower and has a bunch of wood in it. I have also caught huge flat head in this creek. Anyway, thanks for everything you do. Individuals like myself who can't do it anymore enjoy watching you do it. My back kills me just watching you sometimes. That 82 pounder you caught in Chattanooga where those idiots were getting close to your boat would have been a no go for me. No way I could have lifted that fish over side. Take care Dave and continue to chase your passion....trust me....time is speeding up and there will be a time when you can't do it anymore.
I think Michael will be here but I'm hoping Tara shows up. Hook, Line, and Chill IS an awesome channel. It ain't gone yet. Dave, I'm sorry you had to catch all those catfish. I hope you soaked that wrist when you got home. It can hurt like the devil, I know. It just goes to show you; it's always something. Either the dogs are barking and the wind is blowing or your catching so many fish they won't even let you tie up another rig. Dad blast it.
Dave, you out-did yourself on this video - it totally rocks. Love the HL&C tribute. I hated they got shafted by YTrolls... I liked the good rocking music for a change, but I still love the fiddle tunes and bluegrass. Mostly playing a strat these days instead of my D-18.
Today is Monday. In 5 days there will be 10 boats on that location. I have been a Hook Line and Chill subscriber from almost day one. They turned out some great content. Thanks RU-vid for screwing up another talented and entertaining video pervader. Well done intro Dave...
I wish I could give you a double thumbs up! First for your great (as always) content and the second for supporting HLC during their time of issues with YT. You and Michael both rock the sport and enjoyment of fishing and neither of you should change how you present due to unwanted pressures. Keep up the good work!
Could have titled this one "Catching !!" in honor of HLC. GREAT VIDEO as always. So glad I have been able to see your work and the HLC gang. Tight lines!!!
First time commenting here Dave you are a catfishing man And yes I have been so busy me and my son in one spot with four poles we went nonstop for seven hours straight We eat our fish we garden with our leftovers we use every inch of the catfish we hide this spot for family only I love to conserve as well and really understand your message on big fish my son just caught a Forty eight pound catfish she was a fat giant he was caught on camera on RU-vid by a guy we know who was recording us Love your videos man keep them going me and my son watch great content 👍
Great stuff Dave. It is nice to see an honest video about fishing. You don't always have to go after giants. I like to see big fish just like everyone else. But I sat here and laughed watching you get all excited when you were catching all those eaters and a few bigger ones. Nice work sir. Hat's off to you.
I would absolutely love for you to come to worrior river in Walker county Alabama. My husband and I watch your videos everyday almost! We caught a 45 pound a couple years ago. It seems like it is fished out, but I know you can prove us wrong.
Crazy how one day you can get skunked then go out another day and catch 30. Guess that’s why fishing never gets old! Good stuff Dave!! Always entertaining!
Great to hear Hook Line And Chill. Was wondering about fishing south of Minnesota, and years ago, started to watch Catfish Dave, and HLC. Very interesting, entertaining.
After 27:00 Dave is plum wore out from catching all those kitties. Just let em munch! Good job man, keep em coming. I haven’t seen hook line and chill myself. I’ll check them out
I don’t usually compliment music but, since someone will complain, I had to submit this compliment. Every time you holler “whewww” my wife laughs. Keep up the good work.
Great... Great.. Great... content now that's what I'm talking about when I say Change Addresses close to 30 caught in 40 plus minutes is insane they all were keepers
I enjoy your videos, the videos like this makes me miss my dad even more because we used to get after the catfish and we get into them like this from time to time, Thanks Catfish Dave
