Throughout history, millions of people were afflicted by a frightening disease with no cure. In the early 20th century, a 23 year-old Black woman developed the first effective treatment, but you've probably never heard of her. This is the little known story of the chemist who discovered the first successful treatment for Hansen's disease (leprosy), Alice Augusta Ball. Welcome to the #STEMLoft. Okay I don't know if you have ever experienced being either obsessed over or focused on because of how you look but it does get old after a while and let's be real here Miranda is awesome but I mean I just feel weird as The Outsider looking in watching her do her videos and a lot of her responses will comment on how beautiful she is. I suspect this is also a contributing factor to why she is focus on women and science specifically, cuz guys can be dumb and oppressive in more than one way both intentionally and unintentionally!! it's kind of frustrating she's doing a science video and i do see mainly, guys commenting on how good she looks, which is not a bad thing but again like I said it can get old I mean just be normal have a regular conversation I mean I know this is RU-vid and you can't really have conversations on comment sections sometimes if you're just going to comment something but it just feels weird to me!

This is me confessing my love to you! There's so many things I wish to convey. but the more I say, the more I seem to stray away!!! In a ugly world, beautiful things are In the shadows of imperfection. ignored and obsessed over. coveted. then killed! why does this all happen?? Its for the thrill!! I'm sorry we can't just chill, believe it or not I got to work and pay bills!! Nothing to see here just move along, few ever realize, what they got til it's gone. Amongst all this mess There is truth, there is beauty even in its ugliness! In the eye of the beholder, beauty is a part of our own perspective?? Or is it a measurement of physical dimensions, leaveing no room for objections.
