In this video, I visited Lara farms specializing in grafted tropical fruit trees. They also sell tropical fruit when in season. Check out their wonderful website at larafarmsmiami.com/
Big shout out to this guy for making some amazing genetics available to the public at very reasonable prices for these days. We have so much potential for small scale farming in south florida, I hope demand picks up for these incredible fruits and people start growing more to sell small scale.
I was at the fruit and spice park in homestead on Saturday and their trees were loaded with canistel. Found a ripe trompo on the ground. Could have used one more day but was still good.
Great video and information, I have 3 varieties of canistel trees. I have the Bruce, Fairchild, and Oro canistel and one mamey sapote the but I don't know the variety.
I just found your channel and am enthusiastically watching all your videos! I’m in Tampa and growing as much fruit as I can here. I’d love to try canistel so might order some from them. Thanks for sharing where to get them! His farm is a dream!! 😊
Could you mention about each kind of tree in your video about how cold the plants can handle because many viewers want to grow but not sure if we can grow in our areas or not plus Can that plant can grow well in pot because nowaday many people living in apartment and moving from one place to others very often. Thanks
I just had the canistel fruit but I cant eat it by myself. The flavor is not to sweet but it sticks in your mouth. Ill have to try it as a shake. Looking to grow one from seed.
