Mace Kebab! Ottoman Sherbets! We are on a trip to Amasya city in the black sea region of Turkey.
In this third episode, we will go to another city district Merzifon to see the local shops, taste the new Mace kebab that a local chef invents. Then we walk around the streets where Ottoman Sahzadas lived, climb to mount Harsena to see rock-tombs of the kings closer and finish our trip visiting the historical buildings.

Now I can understand why the Ottoman Sultans chose this town to train their sons. A town full of history, beauty, architecture, delicious food as well as nice people. Thanks a lot Ayşenur hanım for putting forth that much effort and hard work to allow us to enjoy the varied beauties of this town. I strongly believe that your efforts should be rewarded by the Turkish tourism officials in anyway in order to support your work in showing Turkey’s heritage, beauty, history and culture to the whole world.

Tesekkurler sister Aysunur this video is amazing so many beautiful mosques and the food looks delicious. I will always go back to Turkey over and over again the Islamic ethos is still there the madressa and being a Muslim there is always a mosque near to make salaah. @@TFT you seem to be the only native that speaks English. Other Turkish bloggers either don’t know English or how to enable the subtitles with Language choices. It would be nice to understand the more rural women’s thoughts and rural cooking with recipes. Such as Erkan Davulcu. Most rural bloggers only say they are in Turkey they don’t give closest town’s name or even general location in Turkey. Please don’t stop sharing. You show the beautiful country and it’s food.
