Hello from wintry The Netherlands! Even though we live quite near the North Sea, which is relatively warm this time of year, our Golden Retriever puppy got to play in the snow. FUN! Not so much for traffic, at 8 AM there were well over 1,000 Kms of traffic jams. Making cards and getting inspiration is much better in this kind of weather! I was still doubting the card & envelopes, but your video pushed me over the fence. Especially the fold you made to show off both sides of those beautiful cards. I still don't like Wild Wheat much, but it is great as faux gold. A few years ago we had this Christmas stamp & die set with pets peeking out of Christmas stockings and one of them was, I'm sure, a Golden pup. We got Misty on Dec 9th and I stamped, die cut and coloured with WW quite a few "puppies" and added them to the Christmas cards for family and close friends. The WW Stampin' Blends proved ideal.

When you run the embossing folder with the die doesn’t the die cut into the back of the embossing folder? Won’t that eventually ruin the proper embossing?
Great question. With cardstock inserted it protects the folder somewhat. But I can see that this might be an issue when I don't use a whole piece of cardstock. So far, I have never seen this to be a problem and my folders get used by many people at classes. I think the quality of our Stampin' Up! product is great and I have never seen any deterioration. I hope this answers your questions?
Nicely done card. I would have covered the backside of the top, center piece with another piece of gold card stock (because it sticks out and the back can be seen). That way when the card is opened the backside is finished too. Just a thought :) Also, and this is meant with kindness; tell folks to clean their products but don't clean your die/emboss folder during the video. Set it aside and doing the clean after-the-fact.
