You can actually *buy* a bicycle for the price of the annual membership.

Sounds great on the surface, but they seem to ignore two factors: 1-Extreme temperatures in Summer 2-The lack of bike lanes and spaces, they didn't think of bikes when they built the city!

I tried one and it was really smooth...They built bike lanes in neighborhoods such as al Khawaneej and so far they work great..I heard they are going to build more lanes and I am excited for that :)

but its hard to drive on roads... we have to choose the walking platform

It’s a nice initiative by all means. Cost effective, Eco friendly and good for health. But the question is where all in Dubai the roads are open for bicycles 🚲.. ?

If they have to be docked every 45 minutes, how can I ride the cycle home? I would eventually have to take the cycle back to where I got it from.

In London you don't need a phone with data plan. All you need is a credit card with which to buy your 24h subscription. Before riding you tap your credit card at the reader and the machine gives you a new unlock code. Very convenient.

Expensive for nothing. It should be the cheapest and efficient form of transport for it to work. May they (careem) concentrate on Taxi. Marketing; I would target the lowest tier(labourers)for maximum profitability-largest (class) number of people in the population.

I ride bicycles from the age 6, today 62...almost every day, but for me this is the first time to see those bicycles. Is there a way to recieve catalog or web site of them?
