I remember the first few times I heard Drew Carey repeat Bob Barker's "spay or neuter" sign off line at the end of The Price is Right, and I thought he simply did it as a joke. It wasn't until recently I learned that he did it as a tribute to Bob.
I grew up watching Bob Barker and I remember my grandmother would not consider the price is right over until she heard that line. Then of course it was time to clean the kitchen
There used to be a great clip of Bob saying this very enthusiastically, it was short and sweet, clear and precise. Please someone do that again... I love to share it in places where people need to be reminded, and the clip is gone. Sad face.
This one definitely seems slowed down. It’s amazing how hard it is for me to find one. There is one in a weird 41 second clip with some weird Japanese Red Riding Hood clip first. You could edit that out. It is a nighttime version of the show, so different vibe to me. Also his final show ever is on here where the end could be edited into a clip too. Pretty enthusiastic.

According to the national Council on pet population study and policy, it is a widely accepted fact that 9.6 million dogs and cats are euthanized annually in the United States. If we were to equal weight one dog to one person that means we would eliminate the entire state of Michigan yearly.
Parents need to talk to their children, especially those who are high school aged about the importance of spaying and neutering pets and how it would be better not to have any pets...except turtles and fish. A snake will eat you, and spiders don't live very long. And pets are NOT presents. Don't give one as a present. It is tacky, thoughtless, and could put the animal in extreme danger.

I made a meme based on Bob Barkers line on a screen shot of an Anderton's RU-vid video titled The Price is Right. Instead of pets I put plecs, short and plural for plectrum, which is the name for the picks that are used to play guitars and other stringed instruments. @t
Should've been taken from a episode other than the one it was taken from (the Terry Gleese (sp?) episode). Holy hell, the story behind all that happened there should tell you all you need to know about why Drew didn't feel very enthusiastic then.
That was taken from the infamous Terry Glese (sp?) episode (that yellow shirt gave it away). That alone is a main reason for why he's not very enthusiastic during that particular episode. There's HUGE context behind what he did, how he did it, and what people thought he actually did.
