That's just pure laziness from the so called cleaners! I've never booked a Haven holiday but I've thought about it,this has put me off, thanks for showing us this x
The main problem as you said,people getting ill. I have quite bad asthma.I did as a child too and those hairs alone would have likely seen me in a+e. you trust the job gets done and done right,especially when you have children. Bare with,they have no case - you have the evidence.and I’m really sorry for your disappointment,it really does put you off 💟💟 xxx
Now we all 5 younger ones with stomach bugs. They have been up all night, and I really think it's too much of a coincidence that they keep getting sick every time we visit xx
Christ that really was grotty , we’ve got a lot of pets and you can’t get any fur up on my rugs because i hoover regular multiple times a day goes to show they haven’t Xxx
That's terrible! I have been going to different Haven sites not Craig Tara and I've never had anything like that! The only complaint I've had was last year the bathroom tap had toothpaste on it but that has been it ever but the state of that apartment is ridiculous the floors haven't been moped and that carpet hasn't been hoovered! I'll be honest no matter if I'd driven far or not I'd have left too.
We have had really good holidays at various Havens. Even with craig tara in caravans but it's a shame they can't keep the apartments clean. Especially as they are Havens rather than private owned xx
That would take you a couple of hours to clean who would want to do that on there break ! I just got to the bit you said the same 😂. I do love Craig Tara but wouldn’t be hiring an apartment.
It just seems to be the apartments for us that are bad. We really enjoy the site and activities. The caravans we have been in have been really good, too xx
We have used the caravans at Tara, and other Haven sites, No problems. We have a large dog and we take a small cordless vacuum with us. We have run the idea of an apartment, especially when we could get them out of season at £29 and £39 for at least 4 days, that includes the "extra cost" for the dog. At £39 we could easily leave the site and not bother about the cost, but whatever the price, we expect the caravan/apartment to be to a certain standard. We cannot decide if to at least try an apartment , 1st week in 2024 think its £59 for 4 days £115 for a week, minus the £20 per booking we get... But guess what the Haven web site has shut down again, "Maintenance" WHAT ! on Christmas day, Not joking , I must have had 15 -20 "site under maintenance, phone us " notices last year... phone them at 00.31 on Christmas Day ? .
Blumin ek Natalie that's so not on is it... The tissue on floor 🫣.. can't believe how much came up.. you did right thing leaving I really hope they refund you that's so not on... You shouldn't have to chase cleaners to make sure they clean that's so not on... And you can't do it yourself you've paid for that break! Glad you had a holiday before this though xx
@@MumandDadto10 you did what was best for your family it's just so maddening you pay all that money and went to effort to tell them your circumstances and make sure it was sorted right for you and it still wasn't... Hope you get refunded and are all doing well after some not being well xx
It is disgraceful that they expect families to enjoy their holiday in such a filthy chalet especially as you have small children who like to crawl around! It looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time. Compensation should definitely be paid and extra on top. xx
Such a shame for you to end your holiday like this,Haven should refund and compensate for loss of earnings as you only get so much holiday pay and its not your fault you had to cut it short🤔
It's more the carefree attitude about it all as well. Reception didn't care, and when I spoke to someone on the phone, they were saying to just wait the 28 days for the refund. Not so much as even an apology so far xx
@@MumandDadto10 Yeah thats such bad customer service,ypu would think the first thing they would do is apologise, i bet they wouldnt accept them standards of cleanliness for their cherubs!Hope you get sorted soon and they get a kick up the arse like they deserve for their run down properties and lack of care🫠
I didn't notice that, but we only stayed an hour and then left. We were in a caravan for the 5 days before, but that was right next to the entrance and it was lovely at that part. Xx
@@MumandDadto10 We have decided to try one of the apartments in March, If I can book it, think it will be £55 minus our £20 discount. It is only an hours drive from home, so will it be a day out, or a 4 night stay ? Many years ago I enjoyed many holidays in apartment and chalets, so just want to re- live that. We love the caravans at Haven
@markleeming1786 There are so many activities and things to do. If you get a decent apartment, it is a great holiday. Never had any problems other than them not being cleaned properly and even the caravans there are much better. We have been 3 times x
