Beautiful van. I always check & clean utensils, cups, plates etc in the caravans when I first arrive. Not best way to start a break away but needs must 😃 I’m coming here next week, using public transport, train & bus, hoping it will be easy to get around & to Tesco for shopping. Paid £65 Monday to Friday for a saver caravan, no passes needed as just myself. £65 return train ticket from Scotland aswell so got a good deal. 😃

We have ordered from Tesco and Asda in the past direct to the caravan. Once you get allocated your caravan (usually 7 days before arrival) you can get your order in like you would do to your house. If this is not something you would like to do there is the number 4 bus that goes past the caravan park (Kipling Drive) Spen court end of the site that goes to the Tesco also. Hope that helps. Large caravans like this are fine, but you still need good weather to enjoy it.

100% Right there! Maybe one day is fine, nice cosy sofa day, but If there's a large family and it's lashing and it rains everyday while your there.. not fun! Niamh x

@@WalkWithNiamh I was there for a week, fortunately it was sunny apart from one day. Couldn't risk it the following year, so chose Florida instead.

We usually go to Cala gran but my wife is on dialysis 3 days a week now, I do not drive any more so we need to be within taxi distance to the renal unit which I believe is in Lytham st Anne’s. Your blog was great I would have complained about cleanliness issues because of my wife’s health issues, my wife tires very easily so the bit about passes was useful a waste of time for us thanx

We loved watching this video ! As lover of caravan holidays ourselves it does seem nice !! Yes I think they could have cleaned it a little better considering how much you paid … Worth checking out Tattershall lakes next with away resorts as well? Obviously your coming here soon so enjoy that first before committing elsewhere haha Again brilliant content though ! X❤

That's a lovely caravan and even more so with it having a full en-suit in the master bedroom. I would definitely have complained about the dirty plates and microwave. Did you know the owners have to pay £35 a week to have their caravans cleaned, so it's definitely worth complaining about in the future. I've just come back from a stay in a saver caravan and from what I've seen of the silver caravans it's definitely worth the upgrade.

Thank you! :) If it had been visibly dirtier I think we would have complained, but it's no bother wiping a few plates and emptying the bins :) I didn't know that about owners paying £35? I love the saver caravans, so cute! Defo worth upgrading for those extra wee touches. Niamh x

If you pay to upgrade then you shouldnt have to wash up dirty plates or have obvious stains on the carpets. On my first trip there I had the same thing, a few dirty unwashed cups etc but because I didnt upgrade I just washed them myself. I payed £120 for a 4 night stay, cant complain.
