Speaking of movies, or rather just media, I finished season 3 of Love, Death & Robots...did anyone else feel like the last episode, Jibaro, had a feel of a Corridor Digital short film? The dances and movement of the characters felt like someone embraced the jank, in the best way possible :D

15:00 This is how it feels in Indian theaters all the time haha! Especially for these bigger, blockbuster, action flicks. Even more so if it stars a legendary actor, such as Rajinikanth. You genuinely cannot sit in a this environment and NOT feel just as amped up as everyone around you. I will, of course, caution against entering the mosh pit at the front, though, that shit gets real serious 😂

Just some thoughts through the podcast: I like the discussion of tropes and not about finding new ones but just using them in interesting ways, and using anime as an example was a great move to describe those physically impossible but attention grabbing moments. Another thing was just the description of how different the movie going experience is in the US compared to where I live. When I am the theater is completely silent, you are there to experience the film, and it is rude to make noise and disturb others.

I love hot sauce but those things are basically coated in pepper spray.

I was hoping to hear more about the new Top Gun because it was such a good film. Sadly they just took a bite of the death tender lmao oh well

Yo, long time fan of the crew's work and I had a sick idea... you guys should recruit "Ammon Hawk" to be the first 100% digital member of the crew. The guy's bold solo content has a mind blowing style that makes a compelling statement, not to mention enough waves to land him an interview on The Majority Report with Sam Seder (link below) where he mostly praised the gifts of Blender and the wider VFX community (like every good artist should). I know I'm talking like I know the guy and there are plenty of talented artists out there, but I think his procedural workflow prowess coupled with an obviously extensive knowledge base of game design history and architecture would make him a welcomed asset to even the most ambitious Corridor project and an absolute ringer for producing Node content. If Jake can get Fenner a visa, why not Ammon? I dunno if anyone has done it yet but if CC was the first to employ a fully digital VFX personality it would be a bold exploration of the digital frontier (not to mention a totally BOSS move). It might even raise some fun questions about the future of the industry, even some press. Besides, let's be honest... the employee of the month sign alone would be worth the paperwork.
