when I was in the middle of editing this video I realized another (based) villain player posted a video on having negative rep with the same meta knight theme as well so oops o-o check it out though its pretty good ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-e6sjftacCeI.html
Honestly I've never been a villain in any of the arcane games but this by far takes the cake for how ruthless it is towards them lol. It's actually hilarious how you're minding your own business and these dudes just want you dead, reminds me of how marines in one piece just non stop keep chasing luffy.
I'd say that AO hit the anti-Villain faction just right. Instead of being weak or useless, the Grand Navy WILL NOT stop until you are dead and arrested. Really makes the "Criminal" aspect feel legit.
Nah this game got me fucked up too because of the realism. was like 12 am and i was on demon time then this ho literally kills me and my bounty completely gone. when i was trying to fight them i lagged so hard because im playing on my damn school laptop
@@wolfythereject You act like the Grand Navy won't send an entire death squad on your ass for simply opening someone's personal chest. These dudes do not relent.
POV: me using 400 of my gold i have left to buy 400 gold worth of cargos to get much more money then suddenly a battalion of marines appeared from the water and jumped my ship and sunked it (bruh i ain't even wanted and did no crime and didn't ever opened a private chest💀)
I had a incident similar to 1:49 a while ago, I went past a Navy ship and they followed me all the way from Frostmill to Sailor’s Lodge, and then proceeded to tear the Lodge a new one in their attempt to kill me I wouldn’t have found that weird, but I had Renown and had done literally nothing wrong, so they couldn’t even damage me as they were ripping Sailor’s Lodge apart The Grand Navy are wild lol
Gotta love how you gain bounty for being executed. ''Dam, did you read that part in Agora about that criminal that got executed? Better put a bounty on this dangerous (dead) criminal."
Tip for ANYONE that wants to go criminal route: just do the story as positive rep and get to max level or finish the story, then just go to silver gold and break a bunch of there stuff it’s hella easy to get bounty than it is to be good
As someone who dose bounty hunting I absolutely wish I had the tracking abilities of the dame navy. Sometimes when I reach a target I find they are already dead from being swarmed by navy ships before I can even get to them for some money.
@@AshCreeper Yeah, but sadly claiming bounties are the fastest ways to gain fame even though I don’t like doing investigative works that takes so much time. Wished I could make a charity association or something to gain fame everyday.
Literally had an entire server and the navy chasing me one time, very fun time. I was playing the Payday 2 police assault soundtrack while it was happening. I did indeed get executed for my goblin crimes, and my 100k bounty. Last words were “I NEED A MEDIC BAG!”
*_Mage Players have access to full Bullet Hell privileges._* *_Warlocks, Conjurers, Paladins, and Savants have half the Bullet Hell privilege if you mix and match your builds to your Bullet Hell needs._*
There is a simple trick tho go to silverhold and use a hammer or axe weapon that can break wall easily then go to the place where there are many jail cells lined up and break the jail cell, you will instantly gain 1000 bounty if ur neutral that is an easy villian route
Even as a marine, i still occasionally get non-stop chased by ai marines. They've destroyed sailor's lodge multiple times trying to kill me, even though they can't hurt me.
the funny thing is, as a hero you take NO DAMAGE from their attacks. so you just end up having a swarm of stormtroopers failing miserably to end your life.
As much as I love the villains I just wish you didn't lose such egregious amounts of your rep when you got caught. Especially since they send people above max level at you, several of them, at once, back to back. Also don't make me play a waiting simulator for losing in that scenario. Even worse is they never despawn. If their ship is gone, they'll just swim after you, forever. One time I was just minding my own business and I saw 2 marines swim up to the shore I was on and then like 20 more followed. Villain should be a fight for your life, you're a monster whose wanted by the main peace-keeping force the seas but it shouldn't be unfun. I do like executions though those are good.
I always did villain run in the other games, even from the start. But here i just couldnt handle the HUGE amount of constant lvl 110 marines chasing me down when im 70. It came to a point it was just funny
yeah its definitely a lot easier to just level up with good reputation, especially since you'll have more access to merchants and no Navy on your back xd
@@jojogacha974ere’s a simple way to put it The magic council is a buncha bees that attack you when you’re near the hive The navy is just a bencha fucking ww3 future mechas that go for that ass as soon as it’s in their line of sight
I feel you man I just got manhunted by 10 Fortified Caravels with 11k bounty as an assasin member and when i reset my fame to buy a collectors rod rq I got jumped by a Lieutenant and Two captains at Sailors Lodge but well to be fair I did break like 2 lvl 125 criminals from Silverhold and delayed one of their executions. But they got executed since they got caught again and also killed every npc in Silverhold... Man cant even have a change of heart in Arcane Odyssey
I have 22k bounty and 5 stars I can say everytime i join server 2 and i mean 2 reinforce navy ketch spawn bothing having 2 lvl 80 vice captain and lvl 120 captain
@@EarthButNotFlat same I can't even get tf out of whitesummit having 3 heavy navy ketch already outside waiting for me as a sponsor(they all have lvl 230 majors)
i remember doing an evil save in WoM and having 0 issues because there was like no penalty in AO you try being evil and suddenly you have at least one navy hitsquad chasing you at all times, and the occasional pulsar spamming mage looking to up their fame (me)
I’m convinced the reason the grand navy is way scarier then the magic council is because there is way less space to run and even if you run by ship they will swim after which is oddly terrifying to look behind you and see the grand navy fucking swimming after your ship and keeping up AND NOT EVEN MENTIONING FOR WHEN YOUR SUNK AND THEY FINALLY CATCH UP
ig i prefer the navy chasing you over the magic council constantly respawning on top of you, but yeah you can't ever relax no matter how far you go since they'll eventually show up and force you to run again
I literally don't know how people have the bravery to be a menace in arcane odyssey 😭 I mainly do the hero storyline because it's easier to manage and you don't get hunted down by the grand navy 24/7
i mainly just don't like ending up in jail and basically being unable to play for 10+ minutes as a result of dying while PVPing as villain. Other than that being a villain isn't all that bad (aside from the perpetual fear of getting jumped by sweaty bounty hunters)
The bounty is much more forgiving in this game bc i remember the magic council would send 15 dudes at level 200 to beat your ass if you have 1 crown of bounty
yeah at least in AO the difficulty of the Navy bots ramps up with your bounty/notoriety level and mostly easier (except for when Heavy Navy Ketches spawn), whereas in WOM they just send captains at you the second you break a window xd
Trying to fish for that 400+ hunger quest at night while getting molded by 10 Heavy Ketches is wild, like man, I'm just trying to live a peaceful life. It's not my fault I have a 300k bounty on my head.
how to be a villain: - Speak to Lester(sponsor near bounty boards) - If you're not in a crew join the assassin crew you'll spawn at the criminal place, if you are in a crew literally just put a campfire there - try to bounty hunt players mostly because you'll get big bounty from it - have a hero friend if you don't like speaking to Lester and most importantly have friends to not get stuck in prison
I am positive rep in arcane odyssey but even I agree that coming to arrest you while fishing is ridiculous 🙄, well at least that guy was nice enough to give you your last meal before having your looooooooooooooooong list of crimes mentioned and then getting executed
Man we are the same I have 5 star and even when I do some shoping and sell thing at criminal base I see 2 big ship come to me (Also for avenge because they are annoying I go to their base explode thing and see a admiral come)
@@chickenandlasagna As someone who goes out of his way to hunt down players with bounties, I generally let them know im there beforehand and give them a second to prepare. Best to keep it fair. But I'm a 133 power metal mage, so its generally not fair anyways lol.
Honestly even though i love being a villain simply to have the experience of being chased by the entire grand navy except i did wish for the pvp system to be tweaked SLIGHTLY as in adding a system for players to agree / not agree to pvp with others for example in settings there can be a option for pvp and non pvp since i do feel like the navy chasing you all the time is bad enough and besides if its too easy they can always add a option for a level 200 npc to just spawn on a navy ship as captain if you have that setting off (also it'd be good to have it so it cant be switched / disabled when in combat similiar to combat logging)
I remember playing world of magic and absolutely destroying the scouts that came for me every time with no consequence but nowadays the grand navy can come in on a row boat and suddenly im throwing hands with god or smth and he sends me to the shadow realm its crazy
Theres also a "Heavy" classification ships in Grand Navy, and its captain is a commander rank NPC. Edit: I only see their Ketch having this classification so far
One time my friend and I were just chilling claiming island and we were getting hunted by a player wanting our bounties which wasn't too bad because he was kinda chill but we landed at limestone snd about 8 navy kitchen showed up all out war barely survived unlike my friend while this bounty hunter watched he ended up leaving us alone after watching all that it was a genuine war
Me as a hero going to fort talos and/or Ravenna while spamming Q is hilarious af. Like the ensigns and legionnaires really letting me come into their turf and start some ruckus
At this rate, there will be 2 ensigns to every legionaire, and 2 legionaires to every centurion, and just 2 of those to whoever might now be the de facto general of the bronze legion now. Probably another order spook.
I remember playing arcane odyssey when some people started sending global messages saying “THE ONE PIECE IS REAL!”. I think this game is just a one big one piece reference.
ig the equivalent of the magic council outposts would be the navy ships that patrol passively, but it would be nice to have some permanent Navy outposts asides from Silverhold
only reason i changed to villain is because gosh everytime im farming bronze sealed chest ALL THE SHIPS I FIND ARE NAVY SHIPS so i decided to just turn villain so i can also attack navys
bruh the worst part is the ships you cannot talk to normal shipwright if ur ship is damaged YOU HAVE to go to the CRIMINAL or NEUTRAL shipwright if you are having a bounty and these shipwright are only on few island you will basically die 10 times without being able to do anything before reaching the shipwright best you have to go villain AFTER you reach max level
@@isaactaylor8086 they should add a disguise mechanic for villains, like wearing a mask or something that allows you to interact in the normal towns again
I truly love this game solely for the justice system, rewarded or punished it's up to how you play and the grand navy is just out there keeping peace. They also saved me from so many pirates during early game so I guess it's a double-sided love
Dear authoritarian figures, at this junction in which we cross paths I have but one revelation to propose unto you. I would like to suggest that my actions have been overestimated and their effects exaggerated. Please do consider I was only engaging in the most mild form of tomfoolery.
Ngl it will be cool for players with alot of positive rep able to get executed too if they was capture by pirate ships tbh and both villains and heroes lost 40 lvls and reset your bounty when you they get executed
As a GN Marine, I'd like that too. Getting hunted down, then teleported to a cell in Whitesummit. The Agora would be vague and dark, like "Player has vanished without a trace" or something.
losing 40 levels is too much. same for reset bounty. the execution counts as a second death actually - you lose bounty and drop galleons when you get executed, same numbers as if you died in combat.
at the very least you can still raid ships but yeah I still miss being able to just wipe out everyone in a town and annoy people trying to use the local alchemist XD
What progression lol? In ao since there's a story to follow and many islands as you go from island to island you gain levels and get stronger in wom it was just like a sandbox game just run around and do whatever I didn't like it.
Yea live a peaceful live I'm fishing in peace after coming Navy massacre I have 5 star yeq O no 3 big boat!STILL on the road im the most good evil guy know i swear I have merciful atribute and I help people in need
navy stregnth is a value based on how many pirates have been sunk in the server compared to navy ships. the navy was prolly bonkers then because of that, as I've never had issues with em, even with max bounty
Having a bounty is like this : randomly hunted a lot more often randomly have the navy come after you during the worst times , any criminal or hero runs up on you while your in PvP and running (npc) , costly because clear noto (have to reset it every 3 seconds)
