Try this for gout, reduce your sugar intake, if you don't have to, don't have sugar. Note this sugar is also exist in fruits thus don't have them too much either. Those things that also say no sugar but sweet - most likely corn syrup - don't have this either.

Narbei, I'm going to eat nasi lemak a lot for the next month just to spite you. My flat opposite have Malay food stall with good (but expensive) nasi lemak. I'm not rich, but I will eat, just to spite you. I will heap on extra sambal, extra peanut ikan bilis, extra taukua, extra beef rendang just to spite you. Sucks to have gout like you. Lol! Eat lah, once a week won't kill you, pain a bit. I get gout already then I complain to you, but for now I eat more nasi lemak on your behalf.

I have gout also. Excuse my language but it fucking hurts like a bitch! Foot, ankle, toe or knee swollen and just one touch or movement feels like 10 out of 10 in terms of pain level! Again, rich man disease. Eating and drinking too well, in my case, a lot of bbq meat and beer. I don’t even eat seafood. Now my appetite reflects a ghost of a man. No more beer, no more beef, no more hotpot, no more spinach, beans, tofu etc. Still, health is most important.
Just don’t eat the peanuts and anchovies when eating nasi lemak. Eat the fish or chicken,eggs and cucumbers should be fine.And lose some weight and drink lots of water. I know because I use to suffer from gout.
