@lataviusdonglebarry4239 you need a usb cable that's data transfer compatible (aka it has four wires going end to end instead of two wich would be power and ground)
To all the brothers struggling. I was downloading a game and this happened where my controller wouldn’t connect to the ps4 and wouldn’t initialize normal- it then went immediately to safe mode… changing resolution, rebuilding database, updating ps4 didn’t help. Ultimately I had to bite the bullet and initiate the ps4 and delete all files, I had to redownload all games but it worked out fine in the end!
This the best video you get a lot of people on here that can't speak English and they make it so difficult because they're not Hands-On explaining the problem
Thanks! I hadn't used my PS4 for a few months. I couldn't get the controller to connect even though it still had plenty of charge left. This worked instantly! 🙌🏻😃
Thank you, bro. I really appreciate you. You were so much help. My controller was not turning off when I turned my game off and I had another controller and I was thinking how to how to connect that to my PlayStation bro and then I stumbled upon this video, you show me how to connect my controller to my PlayStation thank you man so much help
Guys for fucking months I was struggling but I finally just found out today in my experience it was about the right USB. I had multiple USBs and they never worked but I found one specific old USB I had and BOOM fixed all 3 of my controllers.
I just had an update that completely erased my main controller from my console. Usually, I simply turn the ps4 off manually - connect the usb cable to the controller - press the ps button on the controller, and it turns on the ps4, pairing them both together.. this is something I always do once in a while. This time, nothing was connecting, not even the using the reset button, so this is what I did... I grabbed my second controller and turned the ps4 on with that 2nd controller connected to the ps4 with the usb. Once on the account screem I grabbed the main controller and pressed the ps button, and the thing magically connected.. ugh. I swear you gotta be a technician for these things. Good luck if this helped anyone.. oh yea, make sure your micro usb cable isn't just a charge cable if I'm wrong idk but I think it also has to be a data cable.
Guys i fixed mine, what you want to do is u unplug the power cable to ps4 while its still on so it causes to safe boot and checks system, leave the controller plug in while it does that and it should fix it and controller work
Bro thank you so much. I connected both of my controllers to my pc and couldn’t connect back to my ps. I was scared that I would have to buy a new controller. This video helped me a lot
Your probably not going to see this, but my controller turns on the ps4 yet it is stuck on the “welcome back to PlayStation press the PS button to use the controller” Screen. Even if I press the ps button it does not enter but it just turns on the controller, what do I do?
Yo let me know if your ps4 controllers brake to fast these days and they suck let me know down here and like so i can come back here to see how many people have the same problem let me know know🙌
That what’s happening to me right now I come back trying to connect my ps4 controller to my own ps4 since I took at my cousins house should I keep on trying to connect cause I keep using different plugs and it won’t work. ?
After disassembling my entire ps4, i was a little too rough on the bluetooth cord and ended up ruining it. The reason my controller kept giving me connectivity issues is because i unintentionally destroyed the inside bluetooth cord but fixing my problem by getting a replacement cord only costed $10. Better to replace the component instead or buying a new PS4 or controller. Gotta be more careful next time 😅 Note: For those who are still having trouble connecting their controller via bluetooth after following this video guide, you can use a secondary controller or perhaps the remote to your smart tv to set the default standard of functionality for the ps4 operating system to be controlled via usb instead of bluetooth.
I’ve had my PS4 for like 10 years. I never knew there was a restart button on the controller. Lol it still didn’t fix my issue but thanks for teaching me something.
No basically my controller it can charge but when I press the turn on button nothing happens when its charging I tried pressing it and nothing else happens help me
