28:16 - Just so you are aware - Sharing is caring means no one owns anything. People can come to your house and swipe your laptop, radio, table, counter, etc and there is no recourse. You can go to their houses and swipe anything you want as well. Was unsure if you knew this basically means everyone steals from everyone and they are all ok with it. It's very frustrating LOL

Don't play Sims 4, and seeing this on your channel is the first time I have been introduced to it. As far as 50s - 60s comments are concerned, we had 1 TV, 2 radios, and read a daily newspaper. Baby name suggestions: Paul, Christopher, Michael, David, Susan, Linda, Elizabeth, Kathleen, and Laura. These were all common then.

As always, thanks for your comment, DJ K! Since you haven't played, then you won't have experienced the Sims when newspapers were still delivered AND you couldn't find jobs on computers or phones, but only in the newspapers. I'm considering adding a TV to the next home but it's a toss up because the oldest, cheapest versions of TVs in the game now seem to be black boxes from the early 90s. 🤗 Thank you for all the name recommendations!

I thought I had already commented on this video, but I can't find my comment now. So, I have played The Sims in the past, but only the mobile version due to not having a pc to play the full version on. My favorite part of playing was creating the houses from scratch internally & customizing the characters. I don't really have anything too cool to share about my grandparents in the 50's, but some of my favorite old fashioned names are Arthur, Carl, Percy, Theodore, Vernon, David, Adelaide, Agnes, Billie, Clara, Cora, Dorothy, Frances, Matilda, Nellie, Rose, Ruby, Tabitha, Lisa, Linda, Mary, Martha, Monica, Karen, Carol, Theresa, Victoria, & Kimberley.

Lol this is making me miss the sims so much. I used to play a bunch until I had a baby of my own. That said, I’m not sure I would try have babies in the game. Sims is supposed to be an escape you know what I mean? 😉😂

Uploaded a modified version of the home I submitted to have a basement in case you were interested, but kept it off the hashtag because it kinda felt spammy of me to have two very similar builds on it (If there is a way to just update a post I don't know how to do it). I'm excited to see what everyone else submits. Please don't feel pressure to use mine just because I updated it, I love to play in tiny homes so that's why I built it so small, it's not everyones cup of tea. If you do add it to the neighborhood, please use the updated one with the basement in my gallery, it's slightly better looking and it has a smaller lot so you can fit it anywhere. You'll soon have tots so I wanted to give advise on their skills if you were intrested. It's fun to watch people try to figure out what to do, so if you'd prefer to do that, don't read any further. Best ways to build skills for tots imo: Creativity: Read them to sleep, or just read books to them. You can read to multiple babes at once. Motor: Have and adult to teen "play" with the tot. Thinking: Have them "Watch" adults or teens. Social: Giant stuffed animals, just have them hug, talk and hit them over and over.

In Sims 4 it will still give you the option to try for a baby if you're pregnant, unless you've taken a pregnancy test or are far enough along that she figures it out. You probably were pregnant on the first try. :)

Keep the last name Scott... that was my maiden name lol. You could change the husband's name to Troy. That feels very 50s/60s to me (probably because I have an uncle with that name 😛).
