I want to play havoc so bad, but this, this makes my smooth brain hurt. There’s no way I’m going to get this right every time in a dynamic and chaotic M+ setting. How about this, “Death sweep and Blade Dance draw all souls closer to you during its cast.”
Blizzard is doing the very same thing they did to DH for DF. They are forcing a sweaty gameplay, making some ridiculous early concepts that they will change before launch and the community will eat it because "they fixed some of it and the damage is great". While the alternative gameplay style falls behind by A LOT in every aspect. Some players will say that the exagerated forced movement gameplay is fun, but everyone was very happy when inertia was added, which reduced the movement significantly. What the hell is wrong with the simple gameplay style we had back in Legion and BFA? When did complex APM become a synonymous of fun?
The damage amp stacking is one big issue. The positive feedback loop of this playstyle is another one that will punish downtime severely and we will have the same issue we had in Aberrus. Side note: Reaver's Glaive locks you out of your throw glaive which is your ability to slow in PvP.
I'm a little disappointed that even if we weren't going to be given a third spec. We could've at least had a third hero talent set to choose from. I'll even take blizzard saying "hey this third hero talent setup will be removed from a spec when we add the third one in, to match the other classes (minus druid)"
I just got into WoW about 3 weeks ago and have loved the legion questline / lore and love playing the demon hunter….. did I waste my time getting it to 70?
AR is much more consistent damage for m+ and offers significantly more prio and boss damage while not suffering a ton on aoe. Also it has a better defensive node. There’s a very real world we end up playing it for both. (It feels fine in aoe since you blade dance amp instead)
@@VooDooSaurus Damn that sucks. I was really hoping I could just run FS and chill but missing out on so much damage is such a feelsbad. I think a visual buff and reduced spawn distance of souls could go a long way for this spec. Thanks again for the great video.
I do know about the glyph tints, but I don’t think they’re such a significant change to fix the issue you know? I also don’t think glyphs like that should be how the problem is fixed :/
Yeah. Didn’t suggest it as a fix. Just something to “help” a bit with visual cues. I know it doesn’t help with having to run around and scoop them up or the RNG of how and where they spawn.
Not going to make a rotation video untill much closer to release. Also the changes didn’t actually change anything, they were mostly just tooltip changes
Tuning phase doesn’t fix the issues of the talent tree. The things I talked about here will exist regardless of the tuning. Could it be tuned to be worse than fel-scarred so all the problems don’t matter? I guess, but that doesn’t really fix the issue just kicks it down the road When something is this oppressively powerful with bad gameplay it needs to be talked about
And what happens if you get to the second Reaver's Glaive in that opener diagram, but don't have it available yet? CS until another soul pops and continue on? Or just hope this all gets changed?
Continue on and just eat the loss. You always *will* have it available since you generate 6 souls, it’s just a question of if you’ve managed to pick them up throughout the opener
DH is such a sick class, but making it EVEN more complex, when its already pretty complex is just a garbage move.. def not gonna main DH if it stays like this
silly devs, DHs play DH so we dont have to press 29 buttons, clunky, 60% dmg lmao nerf it in pvp. boring.... also bake in throw glavive 4 set for no one will take those wasted talents. rework. rethink. hire someone who plays dh main not a rogue to fix this
I think I’m going to reroll to Warlock because Demon Hunter is dead at this point; Blizzard doesn’t care and is forcing us to play this terrible playstyle. I think I’ve had enough.
Havoc currently is already complex, what the glaive is doing is sending it to a CRAZY level that just isn’t acceptable when they’re trying to tone down the cognitive load across a ton of specs with the recent reworks and the changes to affixes. Like havoc right now on beta you quite literally need to do trigonometry, statistics, and a little bit of basic math in order to do the rotation properly
@@VooDooSaurus totally agree...apparently i left out the word ""not" in there, should have said "its ok if a couple of specs are NOT Moon..." I know the Legion/BFA version of havoc was a meme when it came to rotational complexity, but it was FUN. The current version, and the War Within version you go over seems....not fun.
Does this make a case for FEL BARRAGE now after the the reaver's glaive buffs are up for AOE since we'll be building back after the big hitter abilities are spent for a bit?

thx buddie great video as always ! I cant stand anymore thoses thousand gcds opener, like demono and few others. It doesnt fit at all in mm, when you have to avoid like 5 spells at the time...hope they ll fix something
I stopped playing DH after season 1 because I couldn't stand the 12-15 button opener, plus mover builds that force you to hold and micromanage cd's around stacking (and other) mechanics. This just seems so much worse. Like WTF are the devs thinking.
Havoc needs rework im talking about that from two years.... Speaking of DH main prospective its bad to play as class who have like few seconds damage window, we got hit in def way when blizzard removed the dodge on the blade dance then we got nerfs on damage and gave us that short window for damage which is bad to play in long term.... im tired of playing same talents for 3 expansions.... the last hope of good damage source was removed after season 1 of DF as well fodder to the flame.... Havoc needs rework visually and damage window wide... the new hero talents are boring as hell, one one side you have one more throw glaive and on the other you have as some ppl call it " Fart"" and power abilities, while other classes got brand new abilities that looks nice and do shit ton of damage ... we got nothing... in that rotation VooDoo is explaining imagine a boss fight and you are stunned/ feared or have to avoid one shot mechanic but your souls are there and the options are two- Get killed to not drop your damage window or drop it and dont do damage ....
thanks for diligently bringing us news from the nether. flip side. if my class is gonna suck in tww, then it gives me a reason to not spend hours on a hollow old game that doesnt love their audience back. i dont have to feel like im missing out on any thing. gone are the glory days. no need to be a sweaty dedicated wow player. this gives us an opportunity to go beyond this game. wow is a dead horse.

i play sub rogue and HDH so i just gotta choose which flavor of mediocre im down wth for this expansion probably HDH still though; at least that rotation will always be fun for me even if it sucks

You are entirely missing both the point of havoc demon hunter and the point of this video if you think I’m complaining about wanting to spam one button, nothing pisses me off more than “waaa havoc 2 button spec” Havoc has not been like that for 2 years now, and is MUCH better because of it, and has turned into one of the most complex specs in the game with its multiple damage windows overlapping, which is very fun and rewarding. Aldrachi goes so significantly beyond that and makes it simply too much, and simply *unfun* Go back to ret paladin or Bm hunter if you want simple rotations and don’t comment like you know Havoc
