Things went left after he was randomly asked to perform. Nobody snuffed, ran, and hid under a table. The entire video footage has been out there for years. Yes he punched Prodigy in the face, but that's not the first time he got snagged. Sai only got out the building when the stage started getting surrounded. It's called common sense. Bruh we all love P, but 🛑 nobody was challenging Nas when he blew, especially back then. When Nas first dropped it was like a breath of fresh air. He literally kicked off a new wave for so many that followed. I’m taking for Big, Jay, etc. So to say P challenge him is to much. @@daweeza42 Nas and Prodigy were better rappers than Havoc, but Hav had some bars and most importantly his beats is what really stood out. As good as Prodigy was, without Havoc doing the Shook Ones and Survival of the Fittest beats we would've never realized how dope Prodigy was.

You do have a point the South and other places started an independent grind and stopped worrying about the majors and once majors saw guys selling hundreds of thousands of independent the labels started chasing those artist down.Less work to do already loyal following. And they were totally fine with kissing every behind possible and groveling to those people for their validation and acceptance.
