@@BirdGardenChannel So cool!!! I can't get over how incredible the Albatross is, spending virtually most of it's life in flight! I saved a fledgling crow from my curious dogs, 2 weeks ago, I placed the youngster in a safe place and watched as the parents continued to feed him, on the ground. The entire crow family , including that fledgling, are visiting everyday, they love to put food in my bird bath! I have to rinse it out twice a day!🤣
@@reginaphalanges7331 Great to hear your bird stories! THe baby albatross fledges and spends the first YEARS of it's life at sea not making land again it's 4th year to nest with a mate!
Thanks for the video! Have you been to the botanical gardens near princeville? Just curious if it’s worth a trip there if the birds are a little more easy to see? Thanks!
@gary_michael_flanagan_wildlife Thanks for watching and asking the question! We did not make it to the Botanical Gardens so I cannot advise of the ease of birding there. I recall the birds at Kilauea Point (Lighthouse) NWR were really concentrated and easy to see including: Laysan Albatross, Red-footed Booby, White-tailed Tropicbird, Red-tailed Tropicbird, Wedge-tailed Shearwater, Great Frigatebird, and Hawaiian Goose.
