@@HeavyWeaponsGuyisHorny I thought it was a representation of him trying to cling onto whatever sanity he has left and escape his evil thoughts; that the "labyrinth" is his own mind, and with stranded lullaby starting just as he's escaping.
@@mandlebrotrainbowsSimon is actually a narcissistic, schizophrenic psychopath that thinks if you kill someone you love, you go to heaven. Now just apply it to the the video and see how much changes
ok but like ik it was like the most simple drawing ever but seeing simon find stella dead with the end of murders and the line "all for nothing at all" popping into my head like...chills, not even joking
This is probably the most optimistic interpretation of events. I don’t know if it’s entirely accurate since there’s a lot of atonement themes in Dream Sweet in Sea Major, but I like it nonetheless. A person whose mind has undergone electroshock therapy probably isn’t a reliable narrator anyway.
My interpretation for both murderers and the mind electric is that Simmon isn't even sure if he killed his girlfriend. Probably he often loses control of his own body, and this happened when he was in the forest with his girlfriend. All he knew when he came back to his mind was that she was gone. He couldn't even tell whether or no he did it. Just that he was "innocent".
how I interpret it introduction to the snow- simon is moving to hawaii and sailing there as he sings the song isle unto thyself- simon settles in to life in hawaii and sees stella for the first time black rainbows-simon meets stella white ball- they go on a date and fall in love murders- they’re on another date in the woods, and simon and stella are separated, simon finds stella murdered by another person and tells to the police. space station seven- stella goes to heaven while fifteen years later simon is arrested, as the police believe he murdered her after looking into the case more mind electric- simon goes to trial, pleads insanity as he is now stuck in a situation where he has to say he killed her. he gets sent to an insane asylum and has electroshock therapy done on him. labyrinth- simon goes crazy in the asylum and wants out time machine- simon is so crazy and delirious he thinks a boat is a time machine stranded lullaby- simon dies on the boat dream sweet- simon and stella are in heaven together
I believe that the Hawaii part ii is a album detailing the story of a man who was cursed with immortality which is a curse bestowed upon him with the added factor of the passing time degrading his mind and the alter ego of himself infecting his mind and causing the death of his lover. The following paragraphs will detail how this interpretation is a suitable story for the album. The first song “Introduction to the snow” shows him reminiscing on his past life as he floats on the precipice of all eternity when everything fades away as he gazes upon the stars and his mind detailing how beautiful and bitter it is. The second song “Isle Unto Thyself” starts us off with an ethereal sounding chant that might have been the goddess he and his lover worshiped or himself reminiscing on the past. Then it cuts to the man detailing how he met the love of his life and like the quote “why would it matter” doubting why and how it all started or maybe him being hesitant of love and how it may hurt him. The song I believe details his love and journey with her and him questioning if the memory was real then the song lyrics details on how when he was on the brink off death “Bled on the ground” he met the god and he was given the immortality he wanted and his alter ego too unbeknownst to them it would be a curse. Next it describes how the universe passed through and how he describes it and how it all died and him questioning his humanity as he ponders life. The song “Black Rainbows” is sung by the woman and is set in what I believe is Hawaii where the 2 lovers met and how they came upon Stella Octangula which basically defines a god(search it up and the theory of its meaning) the song follows how they saw the light that it shown and the possibilities and how beautiful their love and “it” was. (Btw the songs if you listen in order mix like a musical flowing together perfectly ) The next song white ball details a tango both physically and metaphorically kinda where they danced and detail about the future of the stars and eternity and their love together but later on it’s only him who lives forever. This song “Murders'' is a song shows the ego shows how it depicted of the love and how it pessimistically saw it and how he was in the middle and how all it wanted was the fountain of infinite mirrors which basically means immortality and how the ego took control and killed the love of his life and how at the end he gains control and spirals down into his depths of tragedy. The next song is the Japanese song which is translated to space station level 7 which basically details how humans evolved into going into space what it looks like but level 7 is a gate a final gate to heaven which the song constantly chants which leads me to believe that the man lives and is looking for heaven where his lover is and constantly looking for death. The song “Mind Electric” depicts how he was caught for killing his lover and how he is in court pleading to the court of his alter ego which they sentence him to death and how he depicts his degrading mind. And with his sentence he is sentenced to electric chair and how he depicts the electric corses through his brain and how his alter ego is becoming more present in his mind commenting on how the surfs work the ground and he plays with his mind and how it or him prays for it to end the torture and suffering. Next song is Labyrinth which describes how his mind is spinning and how he’s trying to get out and how now he feels like his past lover is following and has already gone to level 7 aka heaven. The rapper is the man and his mind as he acknowledges how he is running from the people trying to kill him and how he is in fear of his alter ego/god may cause the death of more and how he is trapped in this cycle. The song “Time Machine” is showing how he is now in the future waiting for the release of life and how he regrets what the ego has done, possibly conquered the ego or fused together because the other thoughts did not appear in the song. It follows his desire to go back with a Time Machine which he is awaiting to appear so he can go back and prevent all of it. The song “Stranded Lullaby” is detailing on him being stranded out in space and time and I believe he finally conquered his ego but became numb to the idea of basically everything with the only remaining shard of him being his lover and he is “lost at sea” or he has finally came to terms with his alter ego and he questions why it did what it did and why it was so lonely. The final song is “Dream Sweet in Sea Major” the final song based on my interpretation is where he finally conquered the ego and becomes and the god finally brings him the the promised land when he floated through space and finally reached level 7 where he finally is reunited with his lover as he savor the moment and the moment forever where the verses describe them going back into Hawaii and where they relive their love and what is to come as they love within heaven which he reached and the final verse he says good bye to Hawaii which is a representation of the ego torture and what he felt to finally get their as he grows and anew and will spend forever in eternity with his love. This is what I believe the album means in most sense. I believe the conclusion I detailed is what actually finally happened in that marvelous story which was detailed in the album Hawaii part ii.
I thought that he was remembering the past and he wanted so much to live it again that he really believed he had a time machine and using it to go back in time
Yeah it's such a great story, but you have to be so steong for that sh, imagine losing your girl, then be acussed of being the murderer, then get shock therapy when you are totally sane, slowly becoming insane, scaping only for you to get stranded in the sea and have a slow death while you admire the stars
@@zir0_zis915that’s exactly why I want to do it, it would be such a fun experience even if my girlfriend dies cause when I die I could meet her in the afterlife since I didn’t kill her and the ending makes it worth it if I can see the stars while dying at least I’m looking at something pretty
My interpretation Introduction to the snow: Simon talks about his lonely life and phases to a flashback Isle unto thyself: He meets Stella and has a mixed feelings about her due to which he talks about random topics and questions the human evolution Black Rainbows: He finally gets comfortable with Stella and their relationship strengthens White Ball: They are at the peak of they relationship while they dance below the white ball (Moon) Murders: Simon turns out to be schizophrenic and imagines himself being the erl king and in all of this havoc he kills stella Space Station level 7: Fast forwarding to 15 years he finally gets out and becomes a free man he imagines of going to space Mind Electric: after the murder Simon gets arrested and is given a life imprisonment while staying in an asylum where his mental state gets worse and is tortured by electric shock therapy he even talks about workers calling them serfs Labyrinth: during a shock therapy he hallucinates where he sees stella in a completely different form while being stuck in a video game where he feels he is trapped Time Machine: His sentence has finally ended but he cant forget the trauma and imagines of going back to time he fails Stranded Lullaby: Simon is no more excited and gloomy it seems he still feels Stella is there alone while he is lost Dream sweet in sea major: We get back to the part from where the story begun but from a more clear perspective it is a 7min long clip which suggests it is the last 7mins of his life in which he goes through the flashback and in order to get to heaven he might need another one who stella is At start he starts to talk with Stella soon he starts speaking in French the same phrase which he said during space station level 7 Simon is mesmerised by this feeling but at the same time believes that he it is his death Then Simon accepts that Stella is aware of the fact that he killed her Simon then admires Stella’s beauty In the end Simon says goodbye and leaves forever…. It is still not sure whether he ever patched up with stella or not We can believe that Stella is real and not one of Simon’s imagination as he was stood on trial for killing her According to me Simon might have seen a poster of hawaii in his asylum and might been dreaming of going there Still unsure how was he fluent in Japanese and French
In "The Mind Electric", near the end, the female voice in this person's m9ind telling this person things, just like schizophrenia, suddenly stops and starts saying "Someone help me understand what's going on inside my mind". During this sentence, the main person's thoughts start saying the say thing in unison with her, after a bit her voice fades as well in the line "Doctor I can't tell if I'm not me". I believe this to mean his confusion in his whole situation with the voices because they're starting to collide with his direct thoughts. There's probably more to find in this, but I find it quite interesting.
"I climb the spiriling staircase of ever increasing totality.A staircase suspending in the abyss, following the voice of a beautiful goddest. But there is no goddest nor there is a princess to be saved . In the vast darkness there is a limitless light only revealing more darkness.A Tumor of thought. THERE IS ONLY SUFFERING" -NOBODY
Pretty close to my current interpretation, except in mine, I believe Simon (btw where did that name come from? I thought it was from Dream in Sea Major "why, why, Simon why?" But I looked up the lyrics and apparently it's actually "sigh, sigh, sigh Hawaii" or something, anyway) thinks he's about to reach the pearly gates to meet up with his girlfriend but instead is rejected and sent to hell. "We will be atoning" being one of the last lines in Sea Major. I also think he killed his girlfriend maybe, I need to read the lyrics one more time.
^^^ the mind electric was originally made by tally hall and was going to be called inside the mind of simon, and was going to be put on good and evil - but they decided to scrap that idea - so im assuming thats where people got the name simon
Judging by titles and song: Introduction to snow: Intro to a happy relationship White ball: Unison of her and him Murders: She ded Isle unto thyself: Regrets Black rainbows: The inability to see colours or feel feelings The mind electric reversed: Everything normal is backwards, everything not normal is forwards, he is at the center forever trapped in a *Labyrinth* The mind electric judge part: Before he lost his mind he asks for insanity The mind electric shock therapy: Him losing his sense of direction and self The mind electric "I am your lord, I order you to cower and pray": Him losing control to a deity which is his mind which has no control over itself "Have mercy on me": It worked on the judge, but not on the deity The mind electric "See how the surfs work the ground": Him being a slave to it's own mind Time Machine: Freedom? or just the desire to go back into the past Stranded Lullaby: After multiple scenes that the mind cannot store, we see him at Terminal lucidity where his mind finally works at it's best. Dream Sweet In Sea Major: He is free! He's dead, but he's finally free together with the first tower- I meant with her "Signed yours truly the whale": Either him seeing her as he fades, or death is carrying him to her and death is talking to him "We will be atoning": His mind's antagonists fading away as Death beats the hell out of them "Bye hi, sigh Hawaii": Seeing her in the end Monotone notes: Him going up with the last memory being water finally overtaking his body(he probably didn't die from the water, probably from starvation) Space Station 7: I'd like to think of this as the ending It's either you'd think of him as the murderer or the victim of a murdered girlfriend's case, or himself murdering her but he didn't do it. There's more to this, I love this one more than every other as it paints him not the predator but the victim of Death taking her away.
New and improved interpretation of Hawaii part ii + ruler of everything and variations on the clouds. Before we start this is the backstory on how I found these, found the ruler of everything first then mind electric second but in a closet time period to it. I saw an explanation by the ruler of everything which explained the basic frame of the entire story like 2 years from the current writing of this explanation. This is what the songwriter got its inspiration from with the story and using some of his unused unfinished songs and incorporated them into the album. If you think of the ruler of everything as a demo, inspiration, and enactment of the man’s feelings throughout all of it (explanation of ruler of everything will be at the end). I found how the song and the albums themes and mood were overall similar then I dug deeper for the explanation for Hawaii which I think are false, which led me even deeper to my explanation here so please read and if you have any discrepancies please tell. This is what I believe the album means in most sense. I believe the conclusion I detailed is what actually finally happened in that marvelous story which was detailed in the album Hawaii part ii. Now unto ruler of everything, before explaining remember that ruler of everything was way before and the ground for Hawaii part ii. The song starts out with “Juno was mad he knew he’d been had so he shot at the sun with a gun…” (please read lyrics to understand what i'm saying) implying that Juno/Man was mad because he got tricked into living forever causing for him to lose his loved ones, have the devil/ruler of time/ ruler of everything in the end being in his consciousness(like the alter ego) with its commentary and low tone. The song mentions the sun and how life expanded out of it and around it into the galaxy and the sun literally a god was there with Juno and how the sun knew of the deal he made and could have stopped him. “Every end of a time is another begun” is how Juno saw the passing of time, “you understand mechanical hands are the ruler of everything” mechanical hands being the hands on a clock and how time rules everything, and “do you like how I dance ect ect of the verse” basically states how Juno saw how man was obsessive over how they look talked walked and the view of other for their approvment and how they don’t care that they may “die soon” or disintegrate into chalk. The rest is fodder basically meaning he just bumbled around without meaning and how the time deity criticizes but emphasizes with him. Variations on a cloud first thing straight is not connected to Hawaii part ii or ruler of everything. Blatant reference to their song and overall theme but not connected. Also this supports why I think the ruler of everything is to be taken into consideration when talking about Hawaii part ii. Song starts out with 2 singers both the same person optimistic high tuned awaiting and departing for the future and seeing the beauty of it and the one who doesn’t want to leave the world and what they made and how it’s disappearing in a basic sense. The context is how basically 9/11 yada yada but in 9/11 people were getting burned to death and were stuck onto so people saw as these people were jumping off holding hands to their death which is what the singer is detailing their thoughts and life as it flashes before their eyes “a little bit of magic to end the world”. You can relate the lyrics to this no need to elaborate it shows how he tells of his mother and friends and how they were to him, what he built up how it’s crashing down, and how he/optimistic one accepts it how the memories keep on coming back and coming back as he falls to his death but happy and accept for what is to be for the life he lived and what may lay ahead. Very good song too. I believe this song was also a passion project to the viewers who understand it like a wrap up and gift for a final departure. And so too with these songs for it wraps up the explanation of this song and the rest of all of this.
@@Kenobi_SpaceJesusYES. TYSM FOR SAYING THAT. This is one of the very few things nobody can deny if they're trying to find the real meaning of this story, it's explicitly shown throughout the whole album (especially in The Mind Electric). I wish more people would talk about it because it's so important as it is one of the main topics of the story.
I think that after he murdered is girlfriend he would be sentenced to electric chair. Labyrinth is placed in the middle of the mind electric before the moment when he get executed
He doesn’t get executed tho, he pleads insanity and the insanity plea gets accepted. “My brain has claimed its glory over me, I,ve a good heart albeit INSANE(played backwards). Condemn him to the infirmary” (Infirmary: a place in a large institution for the care of those who are ill, not the sort of place you’d send to people who are going to die anyway) Also “My genius sates a thirst for trouble” Sometimes criminals claim insanity for crimes in order to not get the death penalty. So his “genius” plan actually made his life worse. I won’t argue that he murdered his girlfriend tho, cause that seems like the most likely option.
@@antman4513 yeah your right after re listening the album I think that he got tortured with electro therapy, but i still think that he actually murdered is girlfriend because of an schizophrenia attack ( there are a huge amount of references to schizophrenia in the album, and the end of white ball we can hear a little glitch maybe saying that he already start to be insane) Then he got tortured by electro shock for being insane but it made it worst, that my interpretation
YES BRO I AGREEE I AGREE I CAN SEE THAT LIKE DAY IN THE LIFE BY THE BEATLES LIKE THE SGT PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND ALBUM (I love the Beatles so so sooooo much)
HELLO I'LL ADD MY INTERPRETATION WHICH IS KINDA WEIRD IF YOU DONT KNOW THE REST OF MY LORE CONNECTING TALLY HALL SONGS AND HAWAII PART II BEAR WITH ME IF we include Variations On A Cloud, I like to see it as Simon fully meeting Stella in the afterlife. The report Simon has died (or gone missing if we're sticking with him getting lost at sea) and his family is devastated, particularly his brother, JUNO!! (which is why there's a Ruler sample) so basically Juno's kinda like doing a eulogy or whatever at explaining what happened in his life while Simon had been out at Hawaii and had passed, and ending up dating Time (AHHHHH Juno x Time otp) n stuff and the end is kinda Juno and the rest of Simon's family at night by like a grave or something as the feel not only the presence of Simon, but Stella as well
