After being stationed in Hawaii for 4 years I am totally hooked on shave ice! We will be doing Honolulu the week before the cruise in Hawaii. I knew that my wife would want to see what Hawaii has to offer since she had never been there before.

We were on the Pride of America cruise in October 2023. The weather was beautiful. While your experience might differ, we had mostly sunny weather & warm weather - perfect for shorts and t-shirts. Well, except when we watched the sunset at Haleakala where it was pretty chilly.
It was a nice hotel. As a pre-cruise stay in Waikiki Beach, it worked out well. Easy walk to the beach. Breakfast was great but glad in was included in our rate.
@@traveltrailsail Did you stay at the Marriott 2 nights before the cruise? I have written down so many ideas/tips after watching all your NCL Hawaii videos! Thank you so much for taking the time to put these together! We are going March 2025. Oh, may I also ask which airport you flew out of-you mentioned you were on the East Coast. We live in VA and will fly out of Dulles and we are a bit worried about the seats being uncomfortable for so long. Any info about this would be helpful also! Thanks!!!
