Amazing, looks great I'm setting up something like this right now with a reel mount. I was thinking of drilling a hole or somehow making a butt stop on the sling to put a slide ring on the shaft so it's tethered. The sling shaft breaking in half I don't even know how you did that.
@@Orisha1990 Thanks man! Yeah a reel would be a nice touch! In order to make the shaft two pieces I cut the shaft in half and made a male thread and corresponding female thread with some flats near it so the shaft could screw together and be tightened down. Worked great for travel applications but solid is preferred
The spear travels extremely straight, my biggest struggle however is lining up the “sight” with a fish while drawing the band back. Easy when laying on the bottom, harder when mid water column
