Hawk 250 & XR150L | New Bike Goofin'| Honda XR150L & Chinese Hawk 250 Enduro Bikes 

If you can buy them set up properly or set them up properly yourself out of the crate, the Hawks are a heck of a deal. I currently have @ 15,000 miles on mine and it just keeps chugging along.

We took a new XR150L with 2 KTM 390 Adventures up to Gunnison County CO. Went over Cumberland Pass at 12,000 ft and the 150 held its own. Its' so lean from the factory, we didn't need to change the jets.

I bought one of these hawks. Haven’t received it yet. But listening to that sales person say, “just like a Honda”, what a liar. Just because these Chinese bikes will often use old Honda engines, does not make the rest of the bike “just like a Honda“. Loctite everything! For a second, I thought you were serious about bringing the entire tool chest with you. I was getting nervous about my purchase :-)

My hawk 250efi is great. Love it so far. 1000 miles on it now. Mine will do 75mph . 60 65 comfortably.

Talk about bias against the Honda xr150l, I owned both of these motorcycles, The Honda i never use the choak, turn the gas on first, touch the starter runs and idles perfectly, the engine is way better quality than the Hawk. The ride on the Honda is way smoother than the Hawk and etc.

I think I heard some banjos playing. Couldn’t tell for sure with that ole Hawk screaming. Get up in there!

The XR will start without the choke just fine. At least with mine.

Never had to use the choke on my XR until it got below 40 sis mabee30 start and runs fine !! 500 mil and I've had no issues with oil .

Next time park the bikes and walk to the fishing hole 😂 jk. Looks like a great time.

That Honda Gold is where I do not know if I am a huge fan of the fuel injection cannot mess with it as easily as the carb jets but if you can get access to tune it'd be a whole different story I am curious how it would do with a better flowing exhaust with the stock tune or if the controller would pick up on it and adjust fuel accordingly

Does the Hawk 250's tank fit the XR150L? I want to be able to install a sending unit and fuel gauge on my XR. Thanks and cheers
