I like how most of Kate's offense is physically bringing people to the ground with takedowns and she isn't going blow for blow with them. Makes it more realistic.

Just imagine what Barton was thinking after that musical.. He got reminded of Natasha from the play then he saw someone right "Thanos Was Right" in the bathroom. It was like realising that some people didn't even think what they sacrificed for was right... That's gotta hurt.

I’ll never understand why people never took Hawkeye seriously until he was Ronin, like everyone’s complaint was he’s “just a guy with a bow and arrow,” well Batman is “just a guy with expensive gadgets.” A Badass is a Badass, and Clint Barton is a legit Badass. Hell his Ronin outfit is one of the most awesome outfits I’ve ever seen. Also can we just call Coy Jandreau the 3rd Reel Reject?

I’m so glad they showed the first Avengers film from a citizens perspective. I always thought it would be terrifying from their perspective. And as someone who was too young to see Avengers 1 and didn’t see it until after Phase 3, it was cool to see it from someone who would’ve been my age.

I love Kate's hand to hand fighting style, her size makes it very unrealistic that she could go blow for blow with these bigger thugs so they keep the majority of her offense either with a weapon or with her bringing people to the ground, it's very smart and great to watch

The first 2 episodes of Hawkeye was incredible. One hell of a crazy ride it starts off with with Clint Barton again becoming a reluctant hero to the eyes of the public and Kate Bishop. All Clint Barton wants to do is spend time with his kids and go back home for Christmas and gets pulled back into the action which he wants leave behind. These first 2 episodes you really get depth and dimension for Clint Barton as well as Kate Bishop. Barton looking for that sense of normalcy that he wants badly is nicely explored in these first 2 episodes but thanks to Kate Bishop he reluctantly gets back into the action. Kate Bishop is the anchor for Clint Barton who show him what it means to be a hero to the people and why everyone looks up to him. Bishop will kind of represent that surrogate daughter where she represents the best of both worlds. The polar opposites always seem to work out where one yearns to be a hero but is urged by others that you are not, while the other doesn't want to be hero but gets branded as hero. The balancing act of being normal and saving your city is going to be a tough job and it's about how you work your way around it. The introduction of the Track Suit Mafia felt like a nice comedy act tour but at the same time are a formidable foe. They really bring that balance of humor and serious business flawlessly in these 2 episodes. You have that Die Hard mixed with Lethal Weapon style action happening throughout these episodes. Even the introduction of Jack Duquesne says he up to something and definitely behind the death of his uncle Armand Ducane (actor that played him was also the villain in Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls). One thing I enjoyed was the tease of his character who will eventually become The Swordsman since he has an affinity for swords and Ronin's sword that he acquired says he will battle Clint Barton/Hawkeye just like the comics.

This is absolutely the best paced show so far. It’s really giving every moment it’s needed time to develop. The dialogue is well polished and performed. My only issue is that the action so far is quite choppy, even for a Marvel property.

There dealing with grief for natasha, introspection on his time with the Avengers and regret and PTSD over the blip and what he did as Ronin. Mix that in with the family aspect, which was important in Matt Fraction's comics, and their use of the holiday season themes/ Christmas season incorporation. There is always a blend of darkness and humor with Marvel. It's always been their thing. It's up their as one of my favorite openings for all of these shows, with Loki, cause they're doing justice to the street level, grounded nature for relatability mixed in with the more hyper realistic moments found in Marvel comics. Their doing justice to Hawkeye finally and that's what's most important for one of the Avengers founding members. Plus, Lucky the pizza dog. Enough said!

Best example yet of Marvel's mastery of genre-hopping. It really is Girl's Adventure (Nancy Drew, Enola Holmes, etc.) plus a Hallmark movie "An Avenger for Christmas" and it is the best genre hop so far. Not the best show or movie, the smoothest stepping into a genre and upping the quality to Disney/Marvel level. James Bond and Hong Kong martial arts fantasy and heist comedy are higher technical hurdles but this impresses me as much because it is so smooth and so out if Marvel's comfort zone... but right in Disney's comfort zone.

These 2 episodes were so so good! I’m already in love with Kate (as I expected aha) and I think this show has so much potential moving forward! Manages to find the perfect balance in tone from being fun yet also taking the time for reflection. I really enjoyed both of these and can’t wait to see more! :)

@@AloneInThePark its not worthit.....the origin isn't complicated enough to even have a movie let alone a series......and Hawkeye hasn't got much character for a series as well......we got an origin for her and where Clint is right now in the 1st episode and we saw how they work together in 2nd episode......their are 4 episodes left.......thats a lot of time for an MCU show.......that works and flows like a movie......let's see what they got ahead......plus it's a passing of the torch story.....it had to be done with both characters

I'm glad you guys enjoyed the 1st episode... gives me a different perspective bc I don't know anything about the comics and wasn't sure why I should care about Kate yet. Honestly it was a little disappointing at first (though I ended up loving the series by the end) so it's interesting to see why the people who like the 1st episode do like it and how they feel about Kate from the start.

Heads up everyone, I've heard though the grape vine that some people are planning to review bomb Hawkeye. So I encourage y'all to leave your honest review of the show so far on any of your preferred sites. I don't normally care about reviews but I don't like it when a show is review bombed just because a few people don't want to see the show succeed. Even if it's isn't a positive review, at least it would be a honest one that isn't just made it lower a score or something.

Tony Dalton is the guy that plays Jack, he's recognise for being in Better Call Saul but in Mexico he's one of the best actors around here and he's My favorite, he also stars with Joaquín Cosío the general from the Suicide Squad and other mexican movies like "El Infierno" and "La Dictadura Perfecta". Tony Dalton's friend in real life has a spanish RU-vid channel as a movie critic and also wrote the script for a mexican movie where he and Tony Dalton star in it's call "Matando Cabos" I definetly recommend you guys to watch those movies their some of the Best mexican movies out their and you can definetly find a subs for the movies I just said.

it was ok. Some of the dialogue was kinda clunky between kate and Mom.. And I'm calling it now. Mom did something to Dad when the NY attack happened. And the acxtion when she's being attacked in the car was not filmed well. Couldn't follow it at all. But not bad, and the second episode is better.Clint with his kids was great.
