When it came to Maya Lopez that was really painful because she didn't want to believe the truth but that's what really happened and her arc is about to start in Echo spin-off series where Kingpin is going to play a major part in her storyline. I just love how Kingpin straight up got shot with arrows, with bullets, rammed with a car, blew up, shot in the chest and just came back up as if nothing happened. That was definitely one hell of a body armor he had on to protect himself.

The owl was actually a cute little reference to an owl found in the rockerfeller tree in 2020, when the actually tree while being decorated. Such a funny episode, I loved it!

I don't think they'd kill off Kingpin just a week after revealing he'd return to the MCU. In fact, I'm onboard the theory that he's the one forming the Dark Avengers, allowing him to rise as Phase Four's B-plot villain.

Marvel really gave each fallen Avenger their own project for those left behind to mourn and then move forward. Far From Home was Tony's for Peter and Happy. WandaVision was Vision's for Wanda. Falcon/Winter Soldier was Steve's for Bucky and Sam. And Hawkeye's was Nat's for Clint and Yelena.

They're going to keep honouring fallen characters legacy's too - We have Iron Heart where a teenager is inspired from Tony and makes her own iron man suit, armour wars staring Rhodey where we'll probably see him grieve for Tony, and I'm sure we'll eventually find out what exactly happened to Steve in something.

Kate and Yelena's talk in the last episode, made it VERY apparent, Yelena wasn't going to actually hurt Kate...no matter what. That was Yelena way of making a friend. So I never saw their sparring match in this episode as anything more than that...them sparing. Now the Kingpin fight, that had me wondering how Kate was going to avoid getting killed, the whole time.

Kingpin was fucking fantastic. That one scene in Into the Spider-Verse had shocked me immensely (that SMASH made me scream ngl 😂) and my traitorous brain helpfully kept playing it on repeat the whole time I was watching Kate’s desperate attempts at stopping him. The way he tossed her around like a rag-doll, and how the signature MCU female hero move didn’t even work on him… Ugh. Kingpin terrifies me, and I love him so much for that.

But now, finally, we _are_ getting a confirmation. So we gotta get used to the fact that Daredevil's dark worldbuilding IS a part of the MCU

When Laura flips the watch over, you can hear a slightly altered section of "A spy's goodbye", which is when Mockingbird left Agents of Shield. The watch also has the number 19 on it, which is Mockingbird's number. Also, Kingpin got shot by Echo in the comics and lived, so I have a feeling he survived.

If you look at the Disney+ home screen it says Hawkeye Season Finale. Wandavision on the other hand said Series Finale. So I think they're coming back soon.

i hope so too! this series was awesome and it would be waste for it to end here! would probably be about kate next time around and that’s fine, logical even because people are saying this is a send off for clint, but an illogical part of me still wants hawkdad there. his and kate’s partnership-slash-father-figure thing going on makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside and it’d be sad if they don’t build upon that the next season XD

It felt like they needed to give Echo something to do in this episode. The finale might have worked more effectively if Kingpin was moved to an after credits reveal, they could've even kept the cliffhanger shot, but making it the literal last thing we see would've been more impactful. That way she can focus on her battle with Kazi throughout leading her to that moment.

It was comic accurate but not at all true to Vincent's portrayal of him. To me even the costuming shows that Marvel had little respect for the character he created and reducing him to a goofy villain with super soldier like power who can be beaten up by basically anyone.

What a season finale, from start to finish this shows has captured us. The entrance of Kingpin was so good, Kate and Yelena are the next great dúo. What a performance we got from Clint, I enjoyed this show so much and really hope we get a second season and more information from Clint's past.

*Vincent was born to play Kingpin he was one of the best parts about this show the mystery and build up surrounding him was amazing and finally seeing him in action during tonights finale was worth the wait everytime Fisk showed up on screen I was hyped and that ending with Maya was so unexpected can't wait to see what direction they go with this in the Echo series.*

I thought the Yelena / Kate “fight” was proof that Yelena was not interested in hurting Kate, and was not worried that her little distraction could stop her. I think it was filmed lightheartedly to prove that point. Otherwise Kate would have got a response after the slap. Also I think we need to look at Echo as season 2 of this underworld storyline. It sounds like you were left wanting more, and we will get it. I think we all want all that content all the time too much and have gotten away from waiting “a whole year” for a season of TV.

Well that was an emotional ride, there's of course a lot of fanning over Yelena and Kate but Clint was fantastic in this too, plus we've set up quite a lot. I don't think Fisk is dead, dude took an arrow to the chest, a point blank hit from a car into a window and then an explosion of several trick arrows, I would hope that he could survive a bullet.

I hope you guys do a live spoiler discussion with Coy after he gets better. I absolutely love the energy and knowledge he brings to this show. With that said I NEED more of Kate Bishop and Yelena Belova being BFF’s. She needs to be a main cast member for season 2.🤞🤞 Also I’m so relieved that moving from TV-MA on Netflix to TV-14 on Disney + didn’t even in the slightest bit take away from how terrifying Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin truly is. And I love that they made him freakishly strong like in the comics. But there is no way he was killed off, you don’t put a 1st round draft pick on the team just to only have them play for a couple of games.

My best guess is this is a reboot for the Marvel/Netflix characters only. And kinda makes sense that Marvel will ignore completely the events of the Netflix shows due to the adult content and the bad writing given to these characters such as Iron Fist.

In the comics, he gets shot in the eye (by Echo) and survives. Plus, the emphasis on his last words of "eye to eye" before getting shot definitely meant something.

I think we are just getting a minimal introduction to Kingpin, and that in the Echo series we’ll build more of who he is. If you thought it was too much going on, then taking more to explain him would be more going on. Saving it for the next series. Lots of questions and consequences so it is fine. We got the Hawkeye story, the rest is universe building.

I do want to point out that this Kate is actually supposed to be 22 and had been living on her own and in college, and when you were talking about her going to Christmas with Clint, it sounded like you were saying she was a minor. Her apartment was burnt and the Bishop penthouse would probably be under investigation, so she might have needed somewhere to go, though. I think WandaVision and FatWS both needed to tie up their stories more solidly because there wasn't going to be a second show/season to pick up like Loki season 2 and Echo, even if they will go into movies eventually and there were still some open endings, so Loki and Hawkeye were both able to leave storylines open to pick up in the next season/show. Hawkeye really focused on wrapping up Clint, Kate, and Yelena's storylines fully so that the Maya, Kingpin, and other stories could have an opening for the future, and I feel like it met that goal, and I really liked it. I think the saddest part about Clint and Yelena's fight was that we know Clint and Natasha fought hard to be the one to sacrifice themself and Clint feel really guilty that he didn't win, but Yelena didn't know that, and if she had been there, she wouldn't have been able to change anything, she just would have been the one to fight Natasha and would have been the one feeling guilty because Natasha wouldn't have allowed her sister to be the one to sacrifice herself.

Right. First off the show isn't about him so suddenly spending 20 minutes talking about his childhood would be completely out of left field, and secondly the performance is plenty menacing. The Tracksuits aren't the only game someone who "owns the city" has going, but they're the ones already involved in this issue, so those are the ones he uses.

Jack will get into the Larping life. This is probably my favorite Marvel show yet. I love the cast, and while they could have given us another episode, it wrapped everything up. It answered many of our questions, and did it in a satisfying way.

The Kingpin in this series is more comic book accurate. In the netflix series Kingpin keeps yapping about saving New York City. In the comics he never cared about New York as long as he rules it. Kingpin in the Hawkeye series shows how cunning, ruthless and manipulative he is. He had Maya father killed and in the same time used his death to make Maya loyal to him. And how he was going to kill Kate Bishop mom to clean up loose ends and cut his loses.

I can see what you guys are saying about not feeling the scene with Yelena when she was going to kill Hawkeye. But i feel like she had Always been serious since she entered the show. Her first fight, then the apartment encounter, although she seemed quite fun in there with Kate, her transition later on to an assassin was quite freaky. Florence has a great screen presence. So I feel like in the last episode what they did was kinda changed her dynamic a little in regards to how we have seen her. I feel like if she would have just taken the elevator like every other assassin and then walked down the 12th floor and started a fight that would have been kinda what everyone was expecting. Also, she doesn't thinks of Kate as an opponent and laughs at even the thought of her trying to stop her that's why it was in her character to take Kate very lightly in that scene. She had seen fear in Kate's eyes when she faced Yelena and i think she felt kinda sympathetic towards her. That's why she didn't want to hurt her. But i loved how they established her dynamic with Kate it was something I would love to see more and I hope they bring her back in season 2.

one of my favorite finales of all the marvel shows, even though it introduced kingpin, he didn't overshadow any of the main characters already built on the show, he was genuinely so intimidating on screen, yelena was amazing as usual and clint and kate really got to shine throughout beautifully. With kate understanding the choices and consequences of being a hero finally.

By the way D'Onofrio tweeted + included a link to an article that Kingpin from _Hawkeye_ is indeed the same character from _Daredevil_ and revealed that Marvel Studios made sure that nothing was said in this episode that would contradict anything said in _Daredevil_ in order to maintain canon... which might be first official confirmation that the Netflix series are canon to the greater MCU

I really liked the episode. It got a little silly at times, but Kingpin was viscous and Jack stole every scene. Eleanor was a bit of a let down though. Yelena was amazing. Kate was amazing. And Hawkeye was amazing. The Maya and Kazi stuff was really good too. The Larper stuff was silly but I Lol'd a couple times

Now that the series is over, when are we going to hear who bought Avengers Tower in NYC? Oscorp sounds like it does not exist in the MCU so far, according to Spiderman No Way Home, and I was thinking that Kingpin's main base of operations was going to be the old Avengers Tower. Kingpin was shot by Maya in the comics and he survived but was blinded. His last dialogue, “sometimes families don’t see EYE TO EYE,” is a clear reference to his future lack of sight.

I enjoyed this episode so much! I am not familiar with the comics nor have I seen Daredevil so this was my first interaction with Kingpin other than Spiderverse hahah I thought he was awesome!! I was like damn is he superpowered or just big and strong who knows but even I was like..no way they killed him I know he's a big deal and that pan up shot 😂. I thought it was really well balanced. I love the other shows but some of them have had a tendency to rush a few aspects at the end but i think this one went pretty nicely! They kept it about Kate and Clint, gave a great impression of Kingpin without making the finale all about him, great use of the larpers some awesome trick arrow stuff. Clint got home, we got the watch wrap up. I kind of assumed it was Laura's too, especially after last ep when she said she could understand him more than anyone else. I was like this girl's been in the game!! Plus she accepts him even after Ronin. I also really liked how they made this series a sort of spread out goodbye to Natasha. We got to see the people closest too her properly talk and react. I think i cried more at Yelena crying than when Nat actually died 😂😂 bless her she's such a good actress. Also end credits scene gave me more joy than i can explain 😂

I can see why you could say that a person with no understanding of who Kingpin is and what he can do would feel like this was unfulfilling.... but honestly, Kingpin is one of the most well known Marvel villains... he's up there with the Magentos and Doctor Dooms of comic book villains....so its unlikely that someone this deep into the MCU isn't going to know WHO the Kingpin is.
