Hawkwind 'The Demented Man' Cover by Ebb

During the 2020 Coronavirus lockdown, Ebb had a bit of fun at rehearsal with bass synths and melotron leading to an impromptu cover of Hawkwind's 'The Demented Man' from the 1975 'Warrior on the Edge of Time' album.
Recorded and filmed in one take with NO overdubs.

I've been a HawkHead for close on 50 years and that's one of the loveliest covers I've never heard. The lead vocals really capture the essence of the song while the backing vocals really enhance the piece 😍

Hey, just come across this performance. Lovely! Thank you for your realisation and dutiful work. Early Hawkwind was more than a band. The Spirit stays, then moves on as our mortal coils fail to understand and appreciate the beauty of just Being. Rarely heard by me nowadays... Old fan of this track in my troubled teens 1988-91 cirka... My early acid tripping 92-95 made hawkwind less young, older & darker
