I've done the same conversion. VERY nice. Though i STRONGLY advise anyone who wants to do this, to order the barrel tubes in PLASTIC, not metal. I ordered metal and the bore came to me egg-shaped. I ended up printing my own out of PLA and just sanded them to a perfect fit. Works like a dream.
Considering how much the hammers cost to "3d print". Unless I am mistaken the only problem with the stock hammers is that the firing pin is too short. Would be cheaper to cut the old pins off and tap the hammer body to take a grub screw of appropriate length. Less elegant but cheaper.
Been waiting on a real video for these. Bought the full size one and the original shells suck ass. Might convert it too and cut it down but different then the mad max one
@@thor_269 well look up explosive enterprises cam870 build at end of long video they explain how to load the shells without the aps wads. You’ll need a 3/4” hole punch, cereal box, or frozen pizza box if you don’t want to buy water color paper. Plus that video shows how to tune the shells for different game play.
Dont use the Metall tubes! You need so many hours to fit them in the gun and after that you need hours to fit the APS in them! Order the plastk ones! Terrible fitting the Metall ones!
