A Port supporter here.Fanstastic effort by the hawks and you deserved to win👏👏. Some days this game can break your heart but you have a lot to look forward to over the next few years. Port were pulled over the line almost single handedly by Butters (17 disposals in the last quarter) and I haven’t seen as good a finish (as a port supporter) to a game in my 60years of following footy. Great video and you have a lot to be positive about for the rest of the year - as an outsider don’t be too hard on Sam Mitchell as he’s doing a great job 👍

I was shattered for the Hawks, but as an Eagles fan, after our epic upset win it proved beneficial for us. We're both on 3 wins with about the same %.

Yes as a Hawker I’m feeling you. I was so frustrated and could see this unfolding myself I was screaming attack attack. Yes I was disappointed but I can also see a number of positives We are matching it with the best at times but we just lack some polish and composure. Watch this space. We will come out and beat Brisbane this weekend.

Well said Daz I watched every minute of that and as soon as we stopped scoring I knew the power would come back. The young team just needed to back themselves in and this loss will hopefully teach them a lot but you definitely point the finger on the coaches but still how port kicker that flukey goal with 2 seconds left like WTF that never happens so luck was involved too but move on to next week and go hawks!

As a Hawks fan, the positive I got out of this game was the fact that it shows the passion and belief that the fans have for this team now. The last few years its been obvious that hawks fans have been sitting back and just accepting we aren't good enough but the last month and a half have been exciting. Hawks fans are becoming passionate again and I think that's really good to see. Hope the boys can learn from the game and this loss doesn't demotivate and slow them down in the coming weeks. Go hawks!

Oh mate I feel for ya with all the close games we have been in as a saints fan you guys did it to us last week. You should be proud of their performance though and so thing to build on for the future.

I feel like players are getting over coached and they our taking the fun out of the game when you play on instinct the game flows through you. The Saints players don’t even look like they our having fun anymore and it makes me sad to watch 😢

Yeah, the last quarter was a tactical overview of what not to do, and again, never employ a coach that has history with your club. This whole round, GC putting cats to the sword, Sydney stomping on the Blues and then The Dogs pulling something out of their arse. Oh and West Coast, WTF.

As a port supporter I was super frustrated all game and cried of joy after Dbj kicked that goal. Fair play to your hawks you completely killed us all game especially in the 1st and 3rd qtr some very promising signs for the hawks in the coming years I think the coaching staff will learn from this and in future will be able to close games out and play a good 4qtrs of strong footy

It was a strange move from Mitchell, cornes once claimed mitchell is a genius but there was nothing genius about the hawks offensive shutoff in the last quarter. I feel for you daz that would have been tough to watch😭 atleast theres a chance to bounce back next week against the lions

Hawks need more experience in defence to help with the young defenders to gain more confidence in shutting down the opposite forwards

This is the second time Sam has made a huge tactical error, remember that quarter against the demons? He's got to put on big boy pants and trust the players more.

And Blake Hardwick who kicked what 5 goals was in defence in the last and his opponent was guess who? DBJ!!! Sam was being a smarty pants with his tactics in the last, he’s not up to it I’m afraid, we need a non hawthorn coach to move forward.

Daz, you seriously need to take a very deep breath. There is absolutely no need to carry on in such an aggressive and emotional manner. All you've done is lost the respect of many followers of your RU-vid channel, myself included. I usually look forward to your posts as I respect your footy IQ but with this ridiculous and childish outburst I will think twice about watching you again. I've been a mighty Hawks supporter since the mid 1960's and there have been many down times and frustrations along the journey. Then again, there have also been 12 premierships along the way too. It's not the end of our season for our side (and coaches), just another learning step towards being a great premiership winning team again. As my daughter would say - Take a chill pill dude!
