Hay Day BARN FULL? DO This! (Tips)

I have been struggling getting barn upgrades in, as I’m in a leaderboard NH. So we always focus on stacking for the NH, which means I need to focus on stacking my machines. Which means its hard juggling all the items needed for a barn upgrade. But this week I grinded barn upgraded and got 4 upgrades in, on level 61, so now its more op to size xD

i do the first thing where the you make items that use ingredients from your barn i only gives you a quick bit of space before your barn is full again. my farm is full of tools so I don't have much food products. im a level 49 farmer.

When I have a really full barn I go heavy on the town, boats, and the trucks to whittle away at products until I have wiggle room. It's also a good time to negotiate with neighbors and see if you can work together to pool your tools and everyone upgrade something. This instead of saving tools for everything at once. Sacrifice some tools to barter for the upgrade you want most or that is closest to being done. I used to dump all my barn tools on my buddy in exchange for silo tools and vice versa. Give away your land exp tools in exchange for town tools or saws and axes etc. Also when the barn is full it's a great time to keep mashing ahead and stacking your machines for the next derby or event where having stuff sitting here ready is profitable. If your barn is full just start somewhere filling a machine. It may start picking back up things that are done but eventually you will have the wiggle room you want esp if you pay attention to where the ingredients are. What I mean by that is products that are needed to make something else. Start there. Make and pick up finished bread, pasta, sauces etc. Then start using your bread, sauces and pastas to make other stuff which will relieve the barn. If you end up picking up finished dishes then you have inventory for the townies and trucks and boats and cleaning out the barn is easy. Similar with mining. Run down your mining tools. Start picking up your ores and filling the smelters. Work your way from the dynamite to the pickaxes, not the other direction. Why? The dynamite spends one tool to get 2 ores back while the pickaxe spends the same one tool to get 5 items back. So if you want to burn off some inventory using dynamites will give you less back in return allowing you to clean out. Once your ores are picked up and smelters are going you will have less in the barn than before. Keep in mind that a 9 slot smelter can only accept 27 ores at a time so don't mine more than 5x27 ores or if you do don't pick them up until you know you can get them into a smelter. Let them litter the door to the mine until you need them. There's also other places where ores can go. Iron ore for the sunflower buckets gold for some pottery and cakes.

I got tired of having no space and having to sell my tools that I did the opposite and kept them, and sold all my food products. Well-ah now I have all the space in the world. I'm not playing town or doing boat orders, or any events though (for the time being). 😊
