sometimes theres an icon that says tom bought from your shop so maybe that's it. He finds the amount of an item you look for and gives it to you so you don't need to look in the paper
Why use Tom for the cream, sugar and other items to make ice cream when I can just use him to get the actual ice cream?? That doesn't make any sense. So far, the only thing I have learned is that you can get diamonds form the mine. And that you can somehow "trade" items. Like, how does one go about "trading" items? You said you give ppl coins and they give you items. How? I haven't seen anything like that in my game so far. I also don't have the fishing or mine open because they cost too much. I had over 40k in coins before I opened the stupid boat and now I can't get past 20K on a good day. I do sometimes use him for bread or popcorn when the idiot boat asked for 13 bread x 4 crates and 10 popcorn x4 crates because my popcorn machine only has 2 slots open and its slow af, even with a booster on it. Sometimes, you have to use Tom for stupid, "wasteful" reasons. Usually, I use him for things I cannot make yet like jam and juice because I can't afford those machines either. I just managed to get a cake machine last week and I'm at level 39, so I feel like I should be making more coins to afford these stupid things.

I use Tom for saws. Never get saws, planks, screws & nails so it’s much cheaper to use Tom and even better if he is free for sure to get one of my rares. To bad we can’t send him for the others. Appreciate your video!
Been playing free for 7 years. The best way to use him is with boosters. Buying things that need diamonds like the bouquet and diamond rings and get my purchase of Tom reimbursed. Eg it cost 15 diamonds for a days hire, so I use him to get at least 15 diamond rings or bouquets and the rest of the time to get rare and time consuming things
I bought 10 dollars worth of diamonds, and hired tom for 10 days. I set an alarm for every 2 hours that i was awake every day, and the only things i got were diamond rings, necklaces, bracelets, iron rings, as well as chocolate and lollipops (because they take so long). All of the jewelry i sold, and i kept the very few amount of candy that i got. Note that i am level 57 so I am unable to get blankets, and jellybeans
I also use the Tom boosters. I usually buy saws to cut down my dead trees because I prefer only fresh trees. Before I figured that out I disliked all the dead trees all around.
Tom is great for complicated things that are harder to make ie require a lot of ingredients or take a long time to make. Soy sauce comes to mind as do soups and sandwiches, pasta dishes and sushi. You can also use Tom to buy expensive things so you can sell for profit. This has been very skewed in recent months because diamond rings and blankets are all over the paper so the are pretty much worthless now. So it's not smart to use him for rings and blankets anymore. Everyone is selling them so yours are going to take a long time to sell and If you need them you can buy them in the paper. I also use Tom for managing saws....9 at a time when I have a lot of mess. If you have Tom hired and also a booster try this trick. Use him and then activate the booster and he will be ready immediately.

Do not clean up your farm. The trees rocks are beautiful I use them to make my farm look more natural. If you cut it down you have to buy other trees etc. so plan your farm and you can cut down what trees you need when you need space.

When I was new, I used Tom for 100 shovels xD I regret everything also, can we be friends hayday everyday? I have wayyy to many ores, and also I want to trade for nails.
@@Lukas_Do it’s just a way to help remember when Toms time is up. I thought I didn’t need it but I tried it anyway and it did help. When you use Tom plant an indigo, maybe in a special place where it’s easy to see. When it turns blue that’s your reminder that Tom is done napping.
