Re watching your videos as you shed happiness as you share your lives. One for the real things I noticed is that the barn poles and house porch supports look like real wood not manufactured by machine. Reminds me how much nature supports our lives. Hope the weather holds for you this winter
I’m not a farmer I’m a retired Trauma consultant but I would gladly give anything to come live in a small trailer and eat rice everyday in return for working with you guys on your land, your a beautiful family. Thank you for sharing your life with us. Xx
Oh Meredith, the time you and Lawrence spent with the quail is priceless. It reminds me of my Dad teaching me about birds and other things in the woods. The only way it would have been better is if the kids had been there. Once again you have made an inspiring video and it almost feels like it had my name on it. I'm so proud that you take your time to let us into your family if only for a moment. I'm 67 and would give anything if I had been a pure country boy. Please continue to make these awesome videos. Thanks.
How did I miss this one. So happy you all had a great last weekend . Farming as I remember from my parents was stressful and of course hard work. Lawrence, you and your dad are great role models for the world to follow.
Welcome back Meredith! You are always missed! There are a few people that put out videos online that I sometimes watch, but as for me, none compare to your videos! You have a way of making me feel I'm on the farm with you and your family! I enjoy every video you do! Thanks for being real. Love and blessings from ~ Rick
All enjoy your video. It brings me back to growing up on a farm and know what it like to be a farmer. The old saying is you can take the farmer off the farm but never the farm out of the farmer. I was born and started working at a very young age on a dairy farm . There one thing about farming you never punch a clock because you are always on the clock.
Loved the Bob White moment. I loved the call when I first heard it as a boy in Maryland, about age 10. I'd almost forgotten about it as an adult until early one Spring morning when I heard that distinctive call while drinking my first cup of coffee in an old Holiday Inn near Midway airport outside Chicago. I was pretty troubled at that time and the memories that little bird stirred gave me some unforgettable, and sorely needed, comfort. God bless them.
Meredith is truly one happy girl and one beautiful Light of Love for sure. Glad to see so many things are coming about for you as prayers are being answered for sure. Ole LB even looked happy as he got to take a little break and enjoy the blessings of nature as he talked with quail. Remember when I had quail around too though been a long long time but still have my deer and doves for now. And of course those black eyed bandits (racoons), armadillos, and one that I don't care to meet with that white racing stripe (skunk but hopefully only one and free for someone to come take LOL) But looks like everyone had a great time with all the things that took place and thanks for sharing with us. Always love to watch your channel as you never know what wisdom LB has to share and of course the humble beautiful precious Light of Love you are Meredith and the heart of Love you share with us all with your family. Truly LB is one very blessed man in the gift of Love God has given him in you and the kids. You always touch the ole heart when your Light shines and we see that humble grateful and blessed heart you have and share (😢mmm...guess those strong onions still making me tears up) with us that you truly are a beautiful woman with a heart of beautiful love and an Angel for sure. Be safe and may God's Light of Grace Mercy and Love continue to shine on you. 👼👍😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 Prayers always Meredith 👼❤🙏
born to be a trucker , I bet you could be anything you set your mind to ! I know LB sees how fortunate he is to have you helping him , you are a very unique person . good to see your dad getting to visit! thats special.
My favorite thing in the world is a fresh cut hayfield on a cool evening. Just a wonderful smell to it. Glad to see all is going well on the farm, I just love seeing your pretty smile.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and adventures. Your attitude towards life is always a breath of fresh air. Nice to see the crib coming along. Great that you have the giant shredded wheat crop in before you ran out of the old. Stay safe and wonderful, wishing you and your family the best.
You have an Amazing Family , i wanted to have farm n,ot that big ,im an old retired vet , but we started having Granchildren , so t will go on Watching yall , GOD BLESS for makin an old couple smile
@ This Farm Wife - Meredith Bernard, I could have had the worst day at work ever but your videos always cheer me up and make me smile and appreciate life. Thank You 😊❤. That fresh-cut hay must smell wonderful.
Great video ....Your smile and kids playing bring a smile to many at a tough time. The sound of the Bobwhite quail and seeing the tobacco barn bring back great memories for me. Too bad I didn't run into you on Hillsborough Street. Lawrence is a blessed man!
Meredith, you seem at your best when your raking and Lawrence is rolling. You really had a full day in this video. You probably had as much fun making it as I did watching it.
Beautiful family, happy to see your dad and children. It was so need to watch Lawrence hearing and watching for the Bobwhite. It's like stopping to hear the smell the roses. I always enjoy your videos. God bless you all.
Another great video! The Farmer knows his stuff. Always taking care of his equipment. If only this could be taught to the younger generation. God Bless your family.
Meredith , that was some beautiful hay Lawrence and you made . I’m so glad your dad was able to visit ! I pray god blesses you with good crops this year !
Lawrence is such a talented man, farmer, dad, husband and bird whisperer. I don't know if it was your dad visiting or the hay baling but you looked so relaxed and happy. It looks good on you. Enjoyed the video, have a blessed day.
Your kids are so fun. Glad to see your dad there. The crib ( she shed) is coming along great. See that the kids are a big help 👍, also I see Bonnie is supervising. Like seeing you drive the tractor. Really like seeing the old truck in equipment shed. Great video.
Great looking crop of hay. That NH Discbine and Wes make great square corners. So glad your dad showed up to help out. Great for You and the Kids and Him! I don't do Snakes!!! I can't keep track of your equipment. Bulldozer, 4 tractors? 4 pickups, Dump Truck plus the Suzuki? I think those crib panels are inside out! And Bonnie couldn't care less! You are riling those truckers! Love the 4020. I have never seen a rake like that. Amazing. You and family are such a delight. Stay Safe.
Thanks Meredith for another wonderful Vlog, thanks it was great to meet your Dan, Goot to see Wesley & Austin groing in to great young people.. Brilliant Hay. I hope you get enought to get you through, Thanks again Tony
Its allways nice to have your Dad and Austin and Wesley's Grandpa come visit, he looks like he is really enjoying himself, and with the first cutting if Hay, I'm hoping you have a long and abundant season for your crops, the lord above is looking out for you and your family, stay safe and healthy, we are all in this together and pulling for each other.
Meredith! You can't believe how much I wish I could be there to help bale. I miss baling so very much. However, just watching ya'll make hay, really makes my day. It's cold windy and raining up here in Central Indiana. You have all the luck! Burn that diesel fuel! At 77, I'm excited just watching this video. Thank you very much Bernard family! God bless ya'll! Have a great day! See you on the flip side! We're down, we're gone, by by!
Thank you so much for sharing. This is my favorite content on the Internet. I'm so glad your springtime is starting out so well on the farm. Bless you and your family. Tell Lawrence I said, "Hey!", and the farm is looking good!
Beautiful smile at the 8 minute mark. Finally back to why I started watching. I wish we where making hay, but we haven't had any rain. Thanks for the videos.
Everyone pitched in worked hard got a lot accomplished and beat the rain amazing family team work 💪I am grateful for growing up on a small farm and the experience it's priceless thanks for sharing
Hey,what y'all are doing on the farm is so pleasant, brings back memories of living on a farm, square bales of hay, loaded 750 bales to one trailer...by hand...we were young and strong way back then, but we live and get old, life goes on,be blessed.
I just want to say Thank you for all your videos!! I got a good chuckle about not having bailer twine when you were ready to bale!! Every year it was the same at our farm already to bale and no twine, and I am always Waiting on the farmer!!
Great video, love that first mowing, first tedding, raking and baling, I can almost smell that wonderful sweet aroma, great that the crib is coming along, thanks for sharing such a wonderful time
Oh my how Lawrence enlightens and entertains! God bless that farmer and I personally thank you for sharing him with us Meredith. The scenery in this vlog was absolutely breathtaking with all that green... I just want 60’s 2 days in a row here in Michigan! We haven’t even touched the lawn mower yet although maybe I shouldn’t complain for once you start mowing it does grow on and on and on😛. Truly do enjoy your vlogs!!!:):):)
Love the Bobwhites. My grandpa used to incubate a couple of dozen every year and release them on the homestead. I was in BS leader training - Woodbadge, and I was in the Bobwhite Patrol... I obtained, and kept a pair in the garage as mascots for the patrol for the 3 weekend class.
well look at you go girl, you're in your glory, making hay working on your she crib and most of all spending time with family, I'm sure it was great to see your dad, keep that rack going, love to see you so happy running your rack you just put a BIG smile on my face watching your videos, great to see ya back, happy haying , keep the videos coming, stay healthy 😉
Welcome back Meredith.. I wondered where you were... The Crib will be a nice addition to your places to "go to"....and you've got that rakin' thing down "pat". looks like you have fun .. 68 and I can still remember the first cuttin' ..the smell and all.. stay cool.. stay safe.. . Good team-work in the field... LB is one lucky man... till the next time ..lovely lady... !!!
That was a great video. Really enjoyed it. I always loved working in the hay and hauling it. Good to see all you and all of your family are doing well. 👍👍👍❤️
Here in the piedmont of North Carolina we have started to mow hay and we have a new Holland 1412 mower and if you don’t have your mower on float and you get on a bank with the float off the you might mess up your cuter bar by breaking the shafts and we have had to take the hole cutter bar off and then you have to fix the cutter bar back on and all that is just aggravating
Good to see you back, Meredith !!!! and looks like you are keeping busy lol you are a hard working farm gal for sure and Mr. Bernard is looking like he is doing well also. Your friend from Michigan !!!!
The crib is looking good as well as the hay. Looks like a great crop. Always something goes wrong on the first cutting gotta get everything lubed up and loosen up as well as the rust after you get everything shiny it will work alot better. Miss Annabelle says hello and hopes you have a great mother's day. And I bet it was great seeing your daddy and looks like everyone had a great time. Keep up the great videos
I gave you a thumbs up half way through your video, when I finished watching the rest of it, I wished I could've given a second thumbs up. Really nice video and love all that great scenery you have down there. Here in Wisconsin, haying won't start for another 2-3 weeks. God bless and stay safe!🚜
You and Lawrence work well together, actually your whole family does. That part about the Bob white was very cool. Hope you got a nice rain to get second cutting off to a great start. Really enjoy your videos, take care!
Well your about two weeks ahead of me cutting and baling hay. It's cold and raining here, maybe snow this weekend. I just got my baler out of the shop and can hardly wait till I get started. Stay safe and watch out for the big orange hornets coming your way.
The new season has started. I am amazed you have your first cutting in May. Not so here in the New England. The she shed looks amazing. Looking forward to see completion.
That's some good looking hay. You're lucky. We raked and baled with open tractors. And you're round baling yours. We square baled most of ours. I've spent many days riding the wagon behind the baler, stacking the bales as they came out.
WOW lol, love the free entertainment! :) I remember hearing them in NH when I was a kid. :) You got the perfect picture at the end of the day hay is in and you can smell it in the air!! That's what I'm talking about!:)
I miss having the quail around, also. Its such a shame that their numbers have declined so,it's a true sound of the country, and good table fair. The shot while driving to the barn, along the barley field, was one of the best I've seen in a long time. The lighting was just perfect, and gave a real sense of piece.I don't know how people can like the city life, but then again,I'm glad they are not clogging up the country side.
Thomas Daniel I get the quail and pheasant yearly at the feed store. Cats, mink and hawks take their toll. Yesterday or the day before I saw a small hawk take a much bigger bird, really good show, only a few feathers left.
Thomas Daniel too many predators. We used to have a excellent ruffed grouse population in pa. Now you’re lucky if you walk the woods all day and kick one out
Now I can check my gas when the gage does not work in my car. Sure am enjoying y’all here in Wisconsin. Looks nice and green down that way. No leafs on the trees here yet. To cold up north. It’s supposed to frost this weekend. Summer in Wisconsin starts about July. Thanks for your videos. ❤️❤️
"Somethin's always gonna happen." Here I sit dreading mowing the lawn on this humid evening, and then I watch y'all overcome every obstacle thrown your way. God bless your family, y'all are an inspiration to many.
My summer sun tea . Two family size bags of Lipton tea into a 1 Prego sauce jar fill with water and let it set on the deck railing for 2-3 hours. add ice to a 2 QT pitcher pour in the starter and full with water. No sugar needed. what a way to start the day.
