in this video i was planning to do the brakes but unfortunetly the gopro didn`t record so i started to remove the injectors and fuel pump to clean the injectors and change the fuel filter.

Thanks, yes the sand is sometimes a little annoying but I got used to it. Just work clean and everything will be fine

Did you take a gen 2 fuel pump assembly and install in gen 1? Does that work well? I may try that. Info please. Thank you

Gen 1 got 2 grounds ,,,they go to the same place ,,black/white stripe so,,,,,, yellow/red stripe- fuel pump main power,same gen1 and 2 black/white strip- main ground for pump and fuel sender then only wire left is the fuel gauge wire. I got this off the hayabusa forum. I'm about to upgrade.

You are a real mechanics but to improve you camera skills try to record each step u do for example when you connected the bettery to the injectors we need to see how you connected them

Can I use a carb cleaner to clean my fuel pump for a 2009 yamaha fz6. I had rust in my gas tank. Or what is the bay way to clean the rust off the fuel pump.. Please

Absolutely, but avoid direct contact with any rubber when using carb cleaner. If you have any rust in the tank, you’ll want to get that taken care of before any cleaning otherwise
