Guys working with Brent has been awesome and I keep learning each day. So cool to see his side of things and learn different perspectives and methods. Check out his channel and video here. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-V0q8Jqporug.html Give him a sub sure to lift you up!
Brent is one cool guy it's good to see you guys doing a project together I got a awesome race senario The Smart K Car VS The Mystery Machine in the 1/8 mile it would be the ultimate race LOL!!
3 days is too long for a part 3 lol I've seen videos of the hayabusa swap and this is supposed to make more power than that. This is gonna be awesome...I just wanna keep seeing progress. This is awesome.
Ok so I have a 99 z71 with 5.3 vortec. I've replaced the original motor with a ju ni k yard one....96,000 for $650 I've also put a remanufactured 4l60E for $1,100 plus A LOT of other odds and ends but point being I've put more $ in it than I'll ever get out of it. I am wanting to s10 swap the motor but first I'd like to build the motor..( dont have an s10 yet) but im looking for as much advice as I can get....I've wrenched my entire life done a lot of normal swaps and a couple rebuilds but I would love some advice as to what I should do with the motor I want to do a full rebuild top and bottom end and heads then cam it and so on and so forth so any advice will be much appreciated
just so you guys know gm and honda have been working together for years now , something us isuzu guys have figured out over the years is gm put alot of motors in isuzus and actually for the v6 had honda build the 5 speed manual trans
Brent, Jeremy and Georgie have some of THE BEST attitudes of almost anyone on RU-vid. Love these guys! Always makes me feel better to see their "Can-Do-It, Glass is always half full" way of life they live! Brent makes me smile and Georgie makes me laugh. Jeremy, I know that you realize how Blessed you are to have these guys on this build. Special shout out to Ben the welding Jedi! The Force is with him. Lol! I want a Faster Proms Smart Pro-Mod Car!!! As Always, May God Bless you and yours!
@@jordancochran7979 hondas are great I think RICERS ruined the brand with shitty modified civics is not a bad car but is not race car just mam shopping car
Hell yeah, backflips like no tomorrow! Might even add a round externall roll cage so it will roll back on it's wheels.😂 Search on youtube for "mastermilo rollgolf" as a reference. He has done the same thing as fasterproms, with a smart (he called it wheelie smart).
If u guys don’t like this vid u aren’t supporting them these guys put in long shifts and we gotta give back to them with a like it’s not that hard on our part and does a lot on there
No one judge my English lol but these guys have everything George for comedy, Jeremy for nerd talk and just overall rundown, laz for that older guy that everyone loves and is really smart
So far this is definitely my favorite youtube collab yet!!! The most humble guys on the internet! Ive never seen a v8 guy build a honda motor and give it props for the engineering!
@@nordic5490 Hahaha what? I live in Europe and I watch tons of videos about old American cars for example, mainly because that stuff is rare here, which makes it more interesting. They are not making a tutorial about swapping a K24 in a Smart car, the main purpose of these videos is entertainment. I'm guessing you watch movies that were filmed outside your country, and where the story is not just about normal, everyday life...
@@nordic5490 Uncle Sam's body was built and designed in Australia and sold not only to the US but also Europe so the channel has more international appeal than you think AND Jeremy, Laz and George genuinely cool car guys.
17 seconds after you uploaded, a new personal best for obsessively updating RU-vid. Also I had thought in the past about what kind of quarter mile times you could get out of a Smart Car with a K-swap in the tail end of it. Definitely will need a major wheelie bar on the back of it if you guys decide to try to turn it into a horror-inducing drag car.
Some fanboys here lol... Cleetus already admitted on camera hes burnt out. His content has been shit for months now. FF is a rich boy ploy to retain views. i love em, but its just been so bad lately, no passion for what hes spent years building
@@colesteven1123 The hell are you talking about dude? Have you seen the passion he's putting in to the track? He doesn't need ploys to retain views when regularly hitting trending. It's almost like you're not even watching what you've got a loud opinion on.
My wife drives a manual 05, great daily, cheap parts and easy to work on thanks to watching Brent and the boys play with them for years now. They are an awesome engine, in Australia the TSX was badged as a Honda Accord Euro.
@@Chris-zv8lq well it really depends on what route you plan on going. I got lucky, a good friend of mine totaled his 06 RSX Type-S and he had an off the shelf greddy turbo kit. He bought the car back from insurance, pulled the motor and most of the parts to sell them off. I bought the damaged turbo kit, the k20z1 head. injectors, fuel system, seats and basically peiced together a kit with those existing parts. We did it in my buddy's garage over like 3 or 4 weeks working on it every night like 3 of us. I think i paid like 3grand for everything at the time, plus maybe another 1200 in misc parts including the k-pro for the ecu. Considering that kit was like $6500 brand new it was a good deal at the time.
@@Chris-zv8lq imo now it would be much much cheaper to turbo it because of the availability of parts and how long they have now been around. My guess is you could piece together a kit with a half decent ball bearing turbo, manifold, fuel system, injectors and computer for maybe 2grand or so.
So the Acura wheels match the Smart Car ones fairly well. It's sitting lower in the car that i thought it would too. Can't wait to see how they tackle cooling.
Brohymn Tribute was one of my favorite PW songs in middle school... I haven't thought about that song or heard any PW song in probably 20 years.... where the hell did I put my CD collection
@@brandonpanozzo86 if you think he's less give a damn you obviously don't know of him at all. Just a great hearted dude that puts his heart and soul into EVERYTHING
@@brandonpanozzo86 lol 02 like twenty years ago he has tuned hundreds of cars. I have been there for 2 days while he tuned my buddies car but won't say I know him lol.
I love you're enthusiasm on this one Jeremy. Just what we needed in these times. Its infectious. Thank you man. And you're right. Too much is just right.
Brent looks so stoned and smiley in all of these videos so far. You can tell he loves hanging out with Jeremy. It's a unique situation to meet somebody who does what you do, just as good.....but nowhere near the same way. Gotta enjoy it as much as you can, and glean as much wisdom as you can. Brent and Jeremy are both wise, and humble enough to know that.
Hey guys for your mounting of the tie rods you could pull the steering rack apart and part off the threaded end of the rack. Drill through the sub frame and weld around the diameter on the inside and outside of the subframe. Then simply thread the rack end into the thread. You still have all the factory tie rod adjustment
Yes they did, they cut 3 sides. Had they left it, they could have drilled the cage through that crossmember then added metal to get to the 3" they needed for the subframe mount.
Glad i found this channel, this is looking to be a great series, and the fact that these guys work the way they do and don't have to add any unnecessary drama to the video is great. Keep up the good work, and i can't wait to see how this turns out.
Few things make me happier than the speed at which this build is happening. People need something to get those creative fabricating and modifying juices flowing. I'm toying with the idea of a LS swapped first gen fusion. This is giving me inspiration.
Well my guess is, if Jeremy can get it to launch right (cuz I'm almost certain it will wheelie, if it don't I'll be shocked) the smart car will win that race. Simply because of the weight to power ratio.
I rather find it annoying when people all they know is a "Hayabusa Motor" because their friend of a friend of a fiend of their friends friend is the one who said that their friend did it. They no nothing bout a Hayabusa motor or what size it even is or anything like that.
Puppies!!!! A few videos back when you got them to howl was so damn cute. These little guys are so adorable. Can't wait to see the smart car done and Rippin.
Great build so far, very cool to see so many people who have experience at this conferring with each other how they are going to do it and how they are getting around problems.
Thank you for pumping out the good content. So easy to get stressed during this scary time but when I watch your videos (and Cleetus) I get away for a bit and relax. God bless you guys.
Guys, i just wanna thank you for doing and sharing all these awesome Videos! I would love if you could do a little presentation clip of the entire Team. Like just a 60 or 90 second clip of each one, where she/he says her/his name and what she/he does and what not. I personally think, that people would enjoy it! Thanks and keep doing what you’re doing...
its amazing how much brent can get done in such little time, he looks busy as heck on your channel, then you check his and hes just as busy on his own at the same tmie
Nice ....really enjoying this project build ...so thanks a bunch for keeping us entertained during these boring times...really appreciate y'alls hard work...keep it up ...thumbs way up
These latest videos have been awesome..!! So uplifting in these wiers ass times.....and the little puppers at the end of the videos just send me off with smiles and good vibes. Great job guys. I can't wait to see the next video. Heading over to watch the PFI and Boosted Boiz videos now.😁👍
To be honest with you I was never a fan of the Smart car videos. Gentlemen you now have my attention! This thing is has entered a new level of awesomeness!!! Can't wait for the next update 😁😁😁
