To of the best sport motorbikes ,face to face, turbo Suzuki Hayabusa takes on V engine with 201hp of Aprilia rsv4 rr,top speed acceleration and drag racing.
@@anilkumarpr3639 That's a bit much give the Aprilia RSV4 some credit. It's like Usain Bolt, a track runner vs idk like Larry Fitzgerald. Different type of athletes, different type of bikes, some of the greatest in their own classes.
@@corpsenugget455 It's timed so I'm sure they're racing the clock more than eachother. Busa knows it no competition and Aprilia knows he isn't in his class.
@@ghost500e Stop doing the Aprilia like that. Someone compared it to a 95 year old man and now a Honda Civic 😪🤣 The Aprilia is actually wayyy faster than the Busa, especially when it's all stretched out and the turbocharger is asking for a crash. But I mean around the racetrack, don't discount how fast the Aprilia is even in a straight line, but that thing is surgical on the racetrack. This is like the Connor McGregor V Floyd Mayweather fight.
rothman tino It's a Boosted busa lol :-) not a standard one, it's not a fair match. Here is my almost stock 07 R1 road bike with sh*t loads of miles on the clocks wasting a busa down the 1/4mile. (Info in the video description). In fact I wasted a gen 1 and a gen 2 busa aka a bus and a H2 in the same fashion. And this was the first time I've been on the strip too. Here's my video peeps. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zOJCNUvbnmw.html Hope you like.. it's unfortunate I had a wheelie from 40 I think it was up to 90ish mph as this meant I wasn't full on the gas. But a 10.2s at 143mph I was quite happy for my third ever run.
He turned on the launch control thats why throttle response sucks... tip no -1 .. with launch control on you can do 0-100 in 3.7 seconds.. and without launch control you can do it in 2.8 seconds.... electronics sucks
It was never meant to be apples to apples race as it is a drag race.If it had been motogp then any other story would have been applied. Both bikes had some aftermarket upgrades.
Harsh Gupta The Hayabusa here has a turbocharger fitted to it. You can hear the turbo whistle during the burnout. A turbocharger can boost power a lot so this Hayabusa is a lot faster than one that rolls out of a showroom.
Why Aprilia RSV4 factory launch is not like other bikes? I have 1 and I never race from 0 .. it has that thing that makes it slow and stops it from quick launch!! do you notice that?
Good to see some footage of Corey in the 8's and to all the keyboard riding experts... the fellow on the Aprilia is at least out there learning, getting better and having fun doing it. Love this footage!!!
Oh yeah for sure. He might not be the greatest but if he stays at it he could be. I'm sure he too knows he's got a long way to go and I can respect anyone prepared for the journey and knows where they're goin even if they at the start.
“Street bikes” I’m pretty sure I heard the unmistakable sound of a turbo whistling as that busa launched. That swing arm looks a little longer than stock too...
Turbo charged Busa vs stock Aprilia, not meant to be a contest. Turn tables around and have these 2 race at a road course and see what happens. Apples and Oranges...but good vid, Aprilia is a beauty.
Extended swing arm on the turbo charged Busa as well. Custom build for drag racing. The RSV4 would eat it on the track or the road. Both built for different things so not really a fair comparison. Put the Busa back to stock then do a drag race.
Hey that was a turbo charged hayabusa and aprilia is in stock obviously hayabusa wins.... Drag races are always done in same cc bikes and also same modes like turbo charged ...
These comments are hilarious yet on point. I have a 17 rsv4rr and I bought it for 3 things in 3 orders. 1 cornering. 2 cornering fast. And 3 ,awesome sound while cornering fast ... turbo busa vs a pretty dang stock rsvr is stupid.... and yes the rider could try to use launch control toggles. INSANE option that's not used much
Such a joke reading the comments. The aprilia rider was basically test and tuning... tcs on tcs off, wheelie control off/on and that is without even using launch control......the same rider has an 03 gsxr 1000 running 10.1 at 148....and its against a race bike/ turbo hayabusa, What do you think is guna happen?
Gerardo Galindo yeah, that's why you don't see a busa in circuit racing. The aprilia rider is stupid coz it's trying to beat a busa at drag racing, maybe bcoz aprilia can't beat other superbikes at circuit racing. Aprilia is unreliable and is trash compared to japanese superbikes.
Shock Wave I take it you don’t like Aprilias.?.? I myself own an R6 so I would say I’m partial to the Japanese bikes as well. You can’t deny the beauty of the Italian bikes though. And put that Busa on a circuit v an R1 and I bet it gets left in the dust like the Aprilia did on the drag strip.
Heretic Anthem I didn’t say the video was pointless. I said drag racing a bike is. I’m sorry for making you get all butt-hurt. I must have forgot the rules of the internet that mention I can’t state an opinion.
It's like comparing if a dragster is faster than a Formula 1 car. They're meant for different purposes. Moreover the rear of the hayabusa has been modified and designed for drag racing, so the bike was able to deliver much more power only from that, regardless of the rest.
Aprilia rider seemed to be lost in traction lol. Traction control was pushing him back, plus he wasn't launching hard enough. Too much grip was obvious, he could've used it to his advantage.
The traction control is on in aprilla as the rider gives throttle it works by not allowed maximum power to the back wheel or else it would atleast come close enough to busa wining is not sure though 🤣🤣🤣🤣
First thing the busa is set up for drag racing plus it’s also turbocharged! The Aprilia is in street bike mode not lowered or nothing! Look at the speed of the busa at the end of the Qt over 20 mph more than the aprilia!
planet6 Apprilia is ranked the only most reliable Italian bike out of the rest of the European bikes. That's not much. Still has a large fail rate than Japanese bikes that are more refined. Aprillia is a luxury bike. Meaning there isnt much parts for them
planet6 i ride and xsr, before that I rode a fz07, rebuilt a cb350 twin. First bike was a CCW misfit cafe racer. I know all about motorcycles. Aprilia's are highly overpriced. They are name only, but guess what there are other V4 out there. And I'm not buying there marketing sceme.
They both had awful positioning. Idk what that launch was from the Aprilia. Tbh I think the Aprilia would of stood a decent chance if he used his launch control
rsv4...nice bike nice gear look like a Motogp right there...terrible skills....you know just like the guy that comes to the ski hills with a new set of $ skis a nice suit but drops right off the top of the mountain
are you fucking stupid you said a stuck busa is not fast hahahahaaaa lol some stupid people you don't know nothing about motorcycle and aprilia is not a fast bike turbo or stuck.
It is all about traction. Busa weighs much more and is able to make the initial part of the 1/4 mile faster. If extended past the 1/4, the Prilla would eventually catch up and pass but would potentially be passed again by the Busa at top speed...
The Aprilla got into the 10's with out knowing how to drag race so that's good I bet it was his fist to time at a strip , not bad for hem . I could not do it my first time .
I dont know what he was thinking except to see exactly how much slower his launch is. Either way, for any superbike, 10.7 is a little slow, and it should be running a 9.9 quarter mile. Dude might want to extend his swingarm another centimeter or two and polish up his launch control skills.
All these keyboard warriors tearing up the V4 rider. He's on a monster of a bike at stock WB and height trying to launch hard. No strap and a hand clutch. I don't think they realize how hard that is to do. The guy broke into the 10s that's plenty good for that setup. I'll bet 90% never even straddled a 200 hp machine, let alone tried to drag race one
Not a fair race. Turbo vs non-turbo. Extended swingarm and probably different gearing gave the Busa and big edge. And more cc's and more torque are hard to beat in a short distance.
