My rs4 plus just died though it lasted for about 4 years, this rs5 was released at the right time for and it's a massive upgrade, am OK with the laggy user interface, my rs4 plus took a few firmware updates for it to run smoothly
@@ReganCipher in my country normal shop sell the buds fe below msrp around 50 us bucks which put the price roughly the same as redmi buds 5 pro also 50 us bucks Buds fe normal price in my country around 75 usd bucks
Nice review, but haylou rs5 do not support WhatsApp calling . If they enable Bluetooth calling on it , they also need to work more on it to enable people WhatsApp calls through watch.
Hi, currently using the RS4+ and one annoying thing about it is that it needed my phone connection to track cycling . Is that the same case with the RS5? its the only bumme of this watch tbh. Well and the ability to save notes from your phone on the watch
The Haylou RS5 and S8 are not smooth as the Haylou RS4 Plus i've tried all of them RS4 plus seems way smooth when you scroll on the menu and the animation are better i don't know i think it might be the cpu problem since the RS5 and S8 seems like they getting between 30hz and 40hz at top
I wouldn't say it feels laggy, but when you're scrolling down a long menu it feels like the scrolling speed accelerates after around 0.5s and then goes too fast so you have to kinda slow it down with your finger. Maybe that's what makes it look laggy, idk 😕
@@ReganCipheri have the rs4 plus and it looks way smother when it comes to animation it's weird because both of them have 60hz refresh rate i hope it's a software issue
Thank you! Apologies, I don't have the watch any more, so difficult to say for sure, but I'm pretty certain it allowed me more than one custom watch face
@@ReganCipherI did try with both the apps haylou fun and hello haylou but I can have only 1 for some reason. Maybe it has something to do with firmware updates ig.(The app doesn't show me any updates or the shop I bought it has already updated it)
It's ip68, which means you can submerge it (showers or baths are fine) but the added pressure from swimming is not something I would recommend. Haylou don't mention swimming anywhere in their marketing material so I would say no
In this listing - s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_Ey7Pkap - there is a comparison there in the details, and it suggests the RS5 ticks many more boxes than the RS4 Plus, but I can't say for absolute certainty as I haven't tried it 😢
Thank you! I didn't try the RS4 Plus, but someone in the comments here has and said other than a tiny bit more lag in the menu, it's much better. IIRC they also said the RS4+ had some lag until it was fixed with firmware updates, but like I said I can't say for sure as I didn't try it
Thanks for the reply man. I do have a thin wrist. Wearing big watches is a nightmare for me. It looks bigger even on your hands. I'm thinking of buying this one, but i got thin wrists.
