Hayman Island (Great Barrier Reef, Australia): impressions & review 

I was there a number of years ago. The memory this clip brings back is tremendous. It is without question one of the most amazing destinations I have ever visited. At the time it was rated as the number 2 destination in the world. All thanks to a wonderful man who is no longer with us. GIRTS ATRENS AND FAMILY their love and generosity was without parallel, as is the Island and the many sights you will encounter along the way. The Island, the Great Barrier Reef, the sights and sounds, the cockatoos on our balcony railing, are all absolutely breathtaking. Without question the vacation of a lifetime.Memories that will last a lifetime. The magnificent pool in front of our room is unforgettable. Low tide in the morning, where you could walk where there was beautiful blue water the afternoon before, for 100 metres, amazing!

Just there on family vacation in August. It is absolutely amazing. A must see resort. Amazing

Any entertainment on Hayman,there used to be 12 full time musicians,I entertained the guest for over 12 years, great place and the guests were fantastic miss the place must go back and visit.

Absolute glorious thought would love to go back as a visitor on holiday , yes it be different to when i was a staff member only had wing at end near marina and other end wing was just being finished when i left but now seems to be a lot more to choose from.

This is a lovely video. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. The beach looks strange during low tide..I have to ask..why were there only a few people in the swimming pools and on the beach? I would have thought they would be packed.

This hasn’t been leased to China for 99 years , has it ? Great Barrier Reef and Olympia national park are my top 2 travel destination ! Thank to Covid , it seems to unreachable to me forever !

As a hotelier, this is the first hotel of all your videos (I've haven't watched only about 10 of them) that makes me feel I wanna work here, because of the location. I've never even had this thought before... Now I'm thinking property would I like to work for from all hotels you have reviewed. Six Senses Zighy Bay will be another option, and a Four Season property I think in the Carribean - it's in an island, I don't recall the name of the island, but yeah I loved that property. Which property do you recommend I should look at, something isolated with a great location (mountains & sea)?

You have to walk from the heliport to the lobby? Is it a resort or a work camp? Penal colony! These videos have become my morning meditation. Thanks for sharing them and taking the time to make a half hour or longer video so one can really get a sense of the atmosphere.
