I don’t know if a song is ever affected me like this 💯 I swear I grew up with this man through his music… Almost everything he went through and goes through I was going through 1000 miles away… damn near simultaneously… Mannn…back in the day when everyone used to buy CDs I would always check Best Buy and Circuit city for the new Haystak and if there was one, I was spending my last 15 bucks on it… Not a single hesitation, and without hearing a single song from it! I grew up less than 5 miles away from 8 mile road in metro Detroit! Not even going to mention that other fella that the previous sentence brings to mind.. hopefully he opens his heart one day and fills it with something besides good rhymes and emptiness because there’s talent and then there’s the ‘Good Lord speaking through you to reach people while save peoples lives and touching their hearts in a way that only a close friend could do talent’ I believe having your priorities in order means way more than it is acceptable to in this society… Almost like it became a cliché that people say to each other when things aren’t going good… Like you said, in the blink of an eye, it will all be over!
