I have a Hayward color changing LED pool light and spa light. They were installed 5 years ago in 2018; if there is 100 hours of working hours on the lights, I'm being generous. We upgraded when we renovated our pool, wanted the cool color changing lights in the pool and in the spa. The spa light today and stuck on one color (dark blue) and the pool light started acting up last year. It would turn on, then blink a few times after a few minutes, and then go out completely. I didn't think about it, since I didn't use it much. Long story short, my VERY expensive light bulb stopped working completely. When we pulled it out of the pool, it had dirty water inside it and pieces of debris floating around. The water drained, and there are still remnants of the debris stuck on the glass on the interior light. Hayward said, "sorry, out of warranty". Now they want me to buy another light??? The same light that broken in less than 5 years? Are you kidding? My last pool light (incandescent) worked for 18 years, never had a problem. Note: I live in Florida, and all of my pool equipment is Hayward, I had very high expectations. This is a failure of the manufacturer. Do not invest in it, it's a waste of money -- it is unreliable and not the typical standard of a Hayward product.

Similar results. Had a pool installed and used the light maybe 20-30 times in a span of 6 years. If I were to be extremely generous with my estimates, I'd say the light had 400 hours of use at most. Upon inspection of the light, I could clearly see water. While searching for possible solutions, I've discovered that this is a very common problem. There are no parts available to fix and requires the purchase of a new $1000+ light.

This is so cool. Why there is 14 dislikes makes no sense unless people don’t have a pool and wouldn’t appreciate this. I like this color choice a lot! You would feel like ur on vacation every night sittin on your back patio.

They only last 12 months. I've had my pool for 4 years now and replaced them three times. They are garbage

My pool was built in 2016, I am currently on my 3rd color logic light and now it has crapped out. 1st one was under warranty replaced by the pool installer. M/N: LPCUS11050. The unit lights up and then flashes about 3 to 4 times then nothing. Is there a known manufacturing defect? These lights are pretty expensive to be replacing every 2 years.

My lights went out... Is there a replacement for it? Or do I need to buy the entire housing? Need help and advice... my spa hasn’t gone out... that’s lasted 5yrs so far. The two main lights dod go out after 3.5yrs. Not happy about that all. What are my options?

These light bulbs are up to a $1,000 to replace and ours worked less than a year. they fill up with water after awhile and stop working. The company hasn't bothered to fix these faulty expensive lights and continue to sell these crappy lights to unsuspecting buyers!

We had our pool installed in June 2017 and bought the Hayward Color Logic LED lights for our pool. March 2019 and one doesn't work and the other one flickers different colors. Pool Company says that the lights are covered under the warranty and will replace both lights. The guy also said that their company stopped using Hayward Lights because of the problems that they were having with the lights being defective and not working very long.

I bought a home with many new Hayward products, OmniLogic, Actuators, Colorlogic, etc last year that had been purchased, installed a few years ago. The Colorlogic pool light just failed a couple months ago. Local pool repair co contacted hayward and apparently not under warranty, which is a bummer, considering it's an LED, the entire fixture must be replaced, and incredibly expensive.

I just completed my pool build and with all your latest products, and I am loving everything... especially the access i have from the app to control my deck jet lights, bubbler lights, blowers, heater, pool/spa lighting, spill over, water bowls, torches & heater. Question: I have the same heater (natural gas), 2 months old, and I smell semi-strong C/O. The install Gas company says all lines check out, and heater checks out. They said the fix is to have my gas company do a meter upgrade, basically saying my pressure should be increased. Does this make sense?

CO is colorless, odorless, tasteless. Its prolly not CO unless you measure it on a gas meter.

Lasted only 13 months LKCUS1100 switch Ive called but no warranty?? Ive gone back to the installer and they refer me to you. For a 300.00 switch it should last longer. Ive gone to a local pool store and they haven't been able to help other then sell me a new switch.

My ColorLogic lights were replaced a month ago but are not in sync. How do I sync them up again?

The lights have to wired to the same breaker / relay to sync. Turn the lights on for 15 seconds. Turn the breaker / relay off for exactly 12-13 seconds. Turn the lights back on and they should all cycle to program 1.

Hi Jason, not sure what light control you have. WiFi control is only possible through our line of Omni Controls. If you have an older control you may be able to add an AquaConnect for WiFi control. You can see theses products at www.hayward.com.

@@HaywardPoolProducts ok thank you! Also my lite is connected to the aquilink control box for jandy salt system. Not sure if theres program issues. I understand light is on or off. But if I keep Turning button on and off a new color pops up, but still light show

These lights are junk. We have had NOTHING but issues with them since day one. They are incredibly expensive!

Very cheap quality, Please don't buy it. it will be burn out immediately after the 12 month warranty . There are other vendors seems they sell good ones.
