Thanks for taking the time to post this video. You'd be suprised how many pool builders sell this system but have no idea how to operate and maintain it. Cheers!
You clearly have a great understanding of the system, but the video would be much more educational if the controller screen were visible the entire time. Thanks for your effort.
The hard reset finally fixed it. Tried to get on app after a few months and red bar at top said it lost connection to router. Tried resetting the LAN router and home router with no luck. The config showed the antenna was not connected. It probably disconnected after a power outage during winter. After hard reset, everything was connected and just had to re-enter wi-fi password. Thank you!
Many thanks for watching and commenting. Please share this out for others to watch and learn and fix their issue. Make sure your a subscriber to our channel and watch other great content we have up Right Now
I don't get it; where do you enter the wifi password? The guy in the video said "you see, that is what it would be doing" and showed the "connecting to bridge" message. He did not show how he finally configured WiFi connection.
Sadly couldn’t see what you’re doing and just wanted the bottomline. Instructions: Press this then press this then press this to reset your WiFi. But thank you for taking the time to try to help.
I have an ASUS mesh wifi system and the omnilogic would not connect after a severe storm. I powered off the ASUS nodes to force the omnilogic controller to connect to the main router and this worked. So maybe a network issue.
this looks like great information however, your camera is not on the panel half of the time. I don't know anything about this system, and looking at the panel helps me. Your camera is on the bottom on the circuit and not on the LED screen. I cant see what your doing!
this is a horrible instructional. the camera should be on a tripod pointing to the device's screen, not held by the instructor (which will and certainly does move every which way).
He is doing it to help people for free.. are you a professional RU-vid instructional rater ?? Maybe could have been better but to have the audacity to comment blows me away. Your the same person that goes to an expensive restaurant then complains about the price.
Yes there is a new current firmware revision out, please ensure your Wi-Fi antenna is compatible with the newest revision before you upgrade the power center main board. Check the Hayward-pool.com website for more information and have your antenna model number and details before you do any updates. Some antennas could also be outdated and can only work with up to certain firmware revisions. For more details you can also contact a Hayward technical support.
This happens so frequently with mine that I recently purchased an outdoor ethernet cable so I can bypass the wireless connection. I've not tried it yet.
The video is informative I should’ve put that in my original comment, however, I was just offering constructive criticism because it’s hard to see what you’re doing the way the camera is moving and positioned
Most automation control centers have a fuse connected somewhere along the main board. Turn off power to control center, Open up the panel locate the main board and see if you find a fuse. Once fuses located remove fuse and check for it being burnt replace if necessary, Turn power back on to the control center and see if it powers up. Good luck
My system wasn't finding the wireless antenna. I had to do a factory reset on the antenna. You have to remove the cover for the network connections and use a paper clip.
Yes this automation system does connect wirelessly. There are in some cases where the connectivity signal gets interrupted, lost, or WiFi router has an issue or loses power, or the automation system firmware has been updated or main box loses power, etc. In these cases, detailed in this video, are some of the things that has to be done to regain signal. Thanks for watching hopefully you subscribed.
