Overcrowded now. Not enough services for the population size because the council are too concerned about building millions of flats. 40,000 people live in Haywards Heath and the infrastructure only supports half of that.
Brett Anderson (singer of the brit-rock band SUEDE) was born 29 September 1967, and grew up in Lindfield, Sussex, a village two miles (3 km) north-east of Haywards Heath. I know about Haywards Heath, because I am a fan of the band SUEDE. It seems to be a good small typically british town now in 2022! Thanks for this upload!
I live near there (I won’t tell because of privacy reasons) but it is a good place to visit for shopping with M&S, Waitrose,Sainsbury’s and other smaller stores. It also has Haywards Heath College and multiple schools. Also if you want to have a good walk around and some food go visit Cuckfield (it’s pronounced COOK-field). It also has a 500 year old church I believe, but I’m not sure. Any way Haywards Heath is great because there’s the train line up to London which usually takes around an hour. If you need to ask any thing else I should respond.
Completely soulless, infested with traffic, not many useful shops (tons of estate agents and charity shops) and is ridiculously overpriced. The Bentswood /America Lane area is slightly cheaper but also has it's fair share of anti social behaviour. Hardly any green space and the parks that are there are frequented by street drinkers and drug addicts. Lowish crime but overall isnt worth considering.
