Glad you're back, awesome work! I really like Primordial Malzeno, its a tough and well constructed battle, and a fitting finale to this Magnum Opus of a title. Wonder of Monster Hunter 6 will go even further beyond the limits.
Wow! I hope I can be this good one day. This fight took me 3 days because I don't have all the augments yet XD I really need to do my investigations so I can make this build and try again with a better time than 37 mins. I love Primordial though, he's very quickly become my favorite. Amazing job :D
do you think you could have done faster with the other demon mode that does more damage? Or is the movement speed increase that much more necessary fighting PriMal?
Yesn't, it's a bit complicated. Berserk allows you to tank monster attacks without dying which alllows you to practice dodging more easily without getting punished BUT the more you get hit the faster the health drains (you can reset the health drain speed by swapping to red and then back to blue scroll though). This set was made with the assumption that you already know a fight well enough to not get hit a lot but if you really want to, I'd recommend to give up some offensive skils to max out on Bloodrite and add Recovery up to mitigate the health drain as much as possible or even outheal it.
So I'm curious - what's your favorite rendition of the song your channel is named after? And do you have any other of her works that you're particularly fond of?
Easily the original version which is how I found out about Yuki Kajiura in the first place. As for other pieces, I particularly liked her work on the Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle and Madoka Magica series as well.
@@strawberryshortcakes7645 I enjoy fighting both, overall I'd say I like Primordial Malzeno a bit more though because of how super aggressive it is while still giving you openings if you know how to avoid its attacks. One thing I do feel a bit iffy about though is the final phase and how partially scripted it feels because of how long its attack combos are.
One stupid question thou, hope you can enlight me about it. How do you target your spiral slash so accurate? Sometimes when i use it i hit the enemies but only couple of hits, and sometime i even fly pass the enemies hahaha. Could you enlight me regarding how to do it? thank you
Spiral Slash only works if you hit a weakspot with it, hitting a non weakspot will make you fly past the monster. In case of Malzeno, the head as well as the chest and front legs count as a weakspot so its fairly easy to connect the spiral slash against it because the hitzones are so generous.
Unfortunately, I doubt it, I really dislike how the dive attack feels in Rise compared to Iceborne and I wouldn't be able to ignore it either because it's such an important part of IG's moveset if you want to do optimal damage
@@CantaPerMe They changed a lot in Sunbreak. I don't know if you'll like it though but the new kinsect slash switch skills replaces the aerial helicopter move and it's really good damage enhancer to the diving wyvern, it is a good gap closer to. The revamped tetraseal slash is also much faster than before which is good for elemental damage combos on ground. Really miss your TA IG runs, but I get why the new insect glaive in Rise seems meh, I found the new sunbreak moves better but like I said idk if it's your cup of tea.
Oh shit, Canta's back with a casual (sort of) speedrun. Also, please. Can we not get something like silkbinds for monhun6? They are worse than hunter arts goddamn.
been a while since I last played but iirc the arm pieces were from Violet Mizu, head from Chaotic Gore and the rest from an event quest with Mizu + Zinogre
Yes, once Wilds comes out. I'm currently busy playing other games while we all wait for Wilds to come out which is why my channel is being inactive for now.
Good decision, the fight is really well done and should be experienced blind without any spoilers imo because there's interesting pieces of storytelling throughout the fight.
@@CantaPerMeYeah, in MHW and Elden Ring I got too ahead of myself and spoiled myself on a lot of special moments with certain monsters/bosses. They were still enjoyable, but the magic of having that first blind experience was tarnished ;-; (also, love ur vids btw, glad ur back, even if it's just for this one time 🗿)
I want play monster hunter world so much :) I play this game just 3 hours in entire my life but me already fight T rex wing, because here in indonesia rental ps4 is so expensive :)
You dont want to ignore raw damage just because a weapon relies more on elemental damage, especially when there's only so many ways you can increase the elemental damage. Valstrax Braces has a good amount of offensive skills, decent slots and a useless skill that I can remove via qurio crafting to add Mail of Hellfire which does increase my elemental damage
@@CantaPerMe oh cool, I had that on the chaotic gore magala armor all this time and didn't know what it did, lol. Thanks for the explanation, I need to give it a try now. I think I had activated that on accident before when I would hit the blue flag, now I know what it is.
Gotta appreciate how Canta just doesn't bother dodging anymore and just runs around Malezno's attacks because the regular dodge iFrames in MHRise are total dogshit and if you decide to recreate this run thinking you can just phase through every attack with a perfectly timed dodged you'll soon realize that you've run out carts faster than you can say "Fantastic game design, Capcom"
